It’s easy to talk crap when Texas was gift wrapped two easy schedules in a row. The problem for Texas is cashing in on that cupcake schedule.

"Mizzou has made the SEC title game. We will likely never see OU accomplish that. Oklahoma is on an express train to loserville. Now that they are no longer one of the few programs paying players, and since they are a piss poor academic institution (in a misrable place) who can't spend with the big boys, there is no longer an incentive for top players to attend. This is why OU is banking its future on a Washinton State QB who ended his season with consecutive losses to New Mexico, Oregon State, Wyoming and Syracuse. Venables will be fired before this season ends and no accomplished coach will take this job. It's over for OU."

OU won 10 games 2 years ago. Everything that could go wrong did last year. Oklahoma won't fall off the face of the earth the way Texas and Nebtaska did.

I don’t really understand why Mizzou gets so much flak around here. We’ve been competitive outside of the Odom years. About a 50% conference win rate, four 10+ win seasons, two NY6 bowl victories, and two SEC East Championships in the first decade in the conference. Big investment in the football program and its facilities. A potent NIL pool. Continually improving fan support. You’d think the SEC invited Tulsa the way this board discusses Mizzou football.

Have not won a conference in 55 years. You’re trash.

Have 0 national championships.

You have not won the SEC. And you guys are raging that your Big 12 titles don’t count. Calm down. The response threads are starting, and people are just having a discussion. And don’t be hypocrites, you guys sure are opinionated about all our teams too.

Oklahoma = .250 in the SEC

Get back to us when you crest .500 or at least make a title game little feller

Otherwise get into the local nursing home and find yourself a husker fan to relive your glory days together.

This is a whole new era of football

Kids and the parents in living room rooms don’t care about your titles from the 60s and 70s

Money matters more now than tradition. It will be interesting to watch. I don’t think there’s any guarantee outside of UGA and Ohio State the next 10 years

This is insulting. These programs are on completely opposite trajectories.

Loser mentality. No way to say Texas loses or wins the same games if we have OUs schedule. What I do know is OU played football games last year and could have won but lost, while Texas beat the teams in front of them except UGA and osu, eventually natty winner and sec winner.

Acting like Texas just automatically loses to anyone else is just trying to make excuses for your own programs shortcomings last year

Yeah but you played the worst 4 teams: Vanderbilt Arkansas Miss State and Kentucky. OU didn’t play any of them

Yes they are. OU has made the playoff 4 times and Missouri has never made it.

True, but both have the same amount of playoff wins
