No he didn't.
Then you’re blind. He tried to rip off Myles’ helmet. Myles was wrong in what he did. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rudolph get a game suspension.

It won’t happen they will let it go but Garrett is DUNZO

I will bet money that even if they try to pursue criminal prosecution. Mason Rudolph will refuse to press charges.
That’s not how it works. The state would press charges, not Rudolph.

I just googled it. I missed part of the game. If you’re defending what he did, you’re as big a POS as he is.
He could have serious hurt that guy. He could have cracked his skull open.
There is no excuse for that in civilized society or sports.
I hate the Steelers and I was pulling for the Browns, but anyone who defends that needs to re-evaluate their life.
I hope he’s arrested.

There's no defending Garrett here.
I think the point is that Rudolph isn't innocent here either.

Suprised no one has dragged the Stand Your Ground Law into this discussion.

If they did that then every player that punched someone would.

No he is defending what Garrett did because he’s an Aggie fan. Period.
What happened there can’t be defended.

IF Garrett was charged, could he simply show the tape and claim that it was 3 on 1 at that point and he was simply defending himself?
If we're comparing this act to actions in the real world, no guy is getting arrested for swinging a helmet at 3 other guys who are after him

Athletes are allowed to murder people and not go to jail. Google Ray Lewis.

Not to mention Markice Pouncey kicking Garrett in the head multiple times while Garrett was on the ground.
What do you do with that when the trial ensues?

I remember that night and the circus that ensued.

Why? It’s completely irrelevant given the context.

Or
OJ Simpson
Danny Heatley
Donte Stallworth
Other than Florida’s own Aaron Hernandez, I cant think of many athletes not getting a slap on the wrist.

Rae Carruth got a serious trial and sentence. Maybe not enough time, but definitely more than a slap on the wrist

Yes clearly Garrett felt threatened and in most states after getting kicked in the nuts he could have shot the person and walked.
