Not really sure what you mean by this. Being located in Mississippi didn't deter some of the biggest recruits in the nation from signing with Ole Miss.

Plenty of HS talent in Miss. Find a way to keep some of it in Starkville.

When there's competent leadership in Oxford, Ole Miss should be the premier football team in Mississippi. A lot of history, more money, better environment.

The problem is their leadership has been mediocre for a long time, and there's still the lingering shadow of "the bad old days." But with Freeze and the recruitment of Nkemdiche, that appears to be turning.

A prediction - if Ole Miss can consistently be a top 15-20 team, Mississippi State is finished. There's not enough room in that state for two major college football contenders.

I personally don't see it ever happening. They can't get recruits to compete with the big boys because

a. they are mississippi state
b. they are located in starkvegas
c. they have to compete with the best schools in the nation
d. they are mississippi state
e. they are located in mississippi (sorry ole miss)
d. they have a highschool stadium with highschool facilities

Merlins is the best coach you guys will ever get but you guys get pissed when he loses to sec schools, news flash MSU, you are MSU, you won't be winning at all. It doesn't matter what coach
Saban couldn't even win in starkvegas

Why do people say this? Most high profile coach? Maybe, but who's to say any random hire won't have more on-the-field success and recruiting ability?

The problem with Ole Miss football is that the collective consciousness of their fanbase cannot transcend the concept of "we are a shitty football team". Until they do, they will not manifest the abundance of a crystal football. Therein lies the mystery.

you are so right because the NCAA did not already look into it or anything? Its also not like they got nowhere and shut down the investigation in a matter of days. so... you dont say?

Plus there there's not way you're going to stop our running game

I don't know if we'll win but no way you crush us
