Billy Kennedy is a New Orleans native. I don't think he'd leave A&M for LSU, despite how he's treated by plenty of A&M fans, but he might.

He should. He still has 3 years left on his contract and I don't see Alleva firing him.

With LSU's financial woes it would be in poor taste to buy out one bad coach and hire another bad coach. The optics wouldn't serve them well in this dire time for them.
I'd say just let him finish out his contract or ask him to sign a new contract to reduce his pay since he's terrible.

I don't want Kennedy anywhere around LSU program.
He had a senior laden team this year and that is rare.
I would take Stansbury over Kennedy anyday.

He won't be fired after this year. I don't agree with it but I just see them waiting until after next year to get rid of him. People can say what they want about his coaching, which is not very good, but the program is in much better shape than when he got here and this is the first year that the team did not improve from the previous season.

As bad as this season was (still finished 4th in league) the program is in a way better position than it was when Jones took it over.
I still laugh everytime I think that TCU paid Trent Johnson's buyout to hire him away from LSU.
