Tennessee.

LSU doesn't have the name power to get back as soon and as good as Ohio State.

Depends on the coach they hire. I think it was a good risk and think there is atleast 20 coaches in college that could do atleast as good as Miles if not better.

Ohio St. That same guy you retards loved to call a shitty coach took LSU to 2 national title games and won one. Can't wait to see what even a competent coach can do

Probably like FSU post Bowden. We are following their example and taking the same guy responsible

I think LSU would compete again right away with Tom Herman, Bobby Petrino or Jimbo Fisher.

I agree, and I also agree with Brando. LSU won't get any of these guys, unless they give him complete control of the program.

It's pointless to ask. Let the corndogs discuss it, because a significant majority of the time, the only thing that's easy to predict is whether a new coach will be generally successful. CFB coaching history is littered with home-run hires that didn't pan out and under-the-radar ones that did.

Really, just look at Urban or Saban. Nothing special distinguished them in their previous milieus. Urban did really well at Utah (and pretty well at BG) but lots of lower division school coaches have done that before flaming out in the big leagues. Urban brought UF back to Spurrier glory. Saban did okay at Michigan State, and, admittedly, he basically resurrected the program, but there was no reason to think he'd win a national title withing 4 years of arriving at a broken-down LSU program.

What I'm trying to say is, the dice are only slightly loaded. It's still a gamble.

Yeah you cant compare LSU to Ohio State

What is it? OSU is one of two teams to never lose 8 games in a season, has been ranked in the AP in every poll save 2 years by far the most, and their worst coach is in the college football hall of fame and had numerous top 10 seasons. I just read this like yesterday

LSU isnt Alabama or Ohio State and good luck reloading like them.

I vote next Tennessee

The only mistake they've made is waiting this long. It remains to be seen if they'll make the right choice now. I'd go Petrino.

What was UTk thinking when they hired Kiffen? I understand he left them in a bind when he left for USC, but to follow that hire up with Dooley was gross incompetence.

LSU could hire the 20th coach on their list & it would still be better than those two.

Howabout the weltschmerz that afflicted the LSU fanbase, either today or Saturday, depending on their proclivities?

Also, would you have accept "KulturKlub"?
