That one also throws Vol fans in a lizzie.

Watch the Baylor game. Matt Luke rewards Mays with the opportunity to start at LT ahead of Truss who played very well at the end of the season. Mays struggled the entire game.

But dont tell that to Vols fans. It isnt consistent with their delusions.

I'm happy for Cade that he gets a chance to play. He is finally an upperclassman and should be better than he was the past 2 seasons.

If Tennessee beats us we probably will. That would be embarrassing.

You mean a guy that had already decided to leave a toxic environment didn’t want to play for a new Oline coach (completely different mindset than Pittman), in a meaningless game, that multiple UGA guys he is close to opted out of?

That actually sounds like what Tennessee fans were saying when he signed with us.

Actually most Vol fans just blamed Butch and congratulated Pittman. And when the SEC allows 1 free transfer we will gladly take Tate Ratledge back too.

Are you pinning your OL hopes on a quitter?

Other vol fans have told me that the OL was good before Mays.

Honest question. Nothing is meaningless in Athens. It is a culture of the program thing.

It’s a fascinating character study.

Would you rather have soaked in mediocrity for two decades in absolute despair with no sign of hope or choke on championship levels ?

Seems to be a running theme with Georgia sports from professional on down.

Nothing is meaningless in Athens but how many UGA student athletes opted out of your last couple of Bowl games? Opted out and offseason arrests seem to be the hallmarks of UGAs football culture. Enjoy the win this Saturday.

Opting out puts a priority on a paycheck.
That doesnt make the 15 extra practices and game meaningless to those in the bowl game.

Wtf is this shite anyway?
Is this the culture in Knoxville? Bowl season is an excuse to titty rub 15 practices and get some swag in the great city of Jacksonville?

I think the Vols could be looking at a shutout.

That's an honest and sober assessment.

Your program leads the NCAA in guys opting out/getting arrested? Coaches and players bailing on a toxic program? I get that 1980 was likely before your time but pretty sure that’s not the norm for championship programs. You don’t see BAMA or Clemson guys leaving in droves or opting out.
