Was 2019 that long ago that people have forgotten that season? Are did the scamdemic erase people's memories?

Doesn't matter. If Georgia beats TCU on Monday, the story is not whether Georgia this year is better than Clemson 18 or LSU 19.

The story is Georgia going 15-0 in a reload year to win back to back titles. 29 wins would be the most ever in back to back seasons.

If we are talking towards the end of the 2019
season when all LSU receivers were healthy, against 2022 Georgia’s current secondary, LSU would likely score 50+. Now, LSU probably also gives up at least 28 but it ultimately wouldn’t matter.

In history? Yes.

Only Georgia fans would think this. Too bad they shouldn’t even be playing next Monday.

LSU 2019 duh!!!

That LSU squad could only muster 23 points at home against Auburn.

Credit to Auburn, they stopped LSU on 4th down at the Auburn 1, the 29, and picked off a ball in the end zone. That game was an outlier points wise as LSU scored over 35 in 14 games and over 40 in 12. That LSU team along with 2020 Bama never trailed in a 4th quarter the entire year.

Awesome that this SEC rant thread has fans of three different teams discussing which of their Natty’s was the best. What are the other conference “Rants” discussing…?

PAC12 - SC fans trying to convince themselves they didn’t just lose to the 2nd best team in Louisiana.

B1G
OSU justifying a recent 1-12 record against the SEC.

Mich - White Knighting for TCU and the Big 12?

ACC - Clemson realizing they’re third (at best) in either SEC division after Tennessee beat down.

We should recognize how good we have it.

We’ve seen what Mac does in a real football season.

Stats versus 2019 Auburn

Mac on the road in his 1st Power-5 Start:
335 yards
4 tds
45 points scored

Burrow at home:
321 yards
1 tds
23 points scored

Overall Mac had the 4th best QB rating in 2019

I think last year's UGA team was better, this year just had an easier path particularly in the SECC game.

Who cares? All that matters is if they're national champs this year. I couldn't care less where they rank historically.

Well let's look

UGA: Lost 15 players to the draft, and ~14 to the portal, came off a national title in 2021 and will complete a back to back title run with a 29-1 record.

LSU: 15-0 and then fell off the face of the planet

LSU is the greatest one hit wonder, but UGA is the greatest back to back ever.
