So you are saying Auburn has been a shitty team? thats the way you make it sound.

Neither one of those Auburn teams were very good at all, regardless of what their record was. I wouldn't say they were shitty, but they weren't good

Define bad. You expecting BAMA, LSU, UF, win every game and if they don't it's a bad year or shitty team? thats the way you make it sound.

An example of a bad year would be the year after Tebow graduated when Florida fumbled the center/QB exchange atleast 95 times and looked horrible the entire season and lost to several teams they typically wouldn't like Mississippi State.

Will it take Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, or Auburn (even though auburn was having a season almost that bad this past year) to have seasons that bad for State to beat one of them?

We've had close games with everyone but Bama. That pretty much makes your question irrelevant as a few of those close games came against 14-0 and 11-2 games. One break and we win, but that didn't happen. Perhaps it will happen in 2012?

I hope So Dumb arse! What a pathetic Flame attempt. It is really sad how low the Ole Miss fan based has slipped. Of course I can understand why, there whole athletic program is terrible.

Got to hate the repeated fumbling the center/qb exchange in a spread offense that is in the gun 95% of the time.

Basically, there is nothing we can possibly do will satisfy YOUR expectations FOR US... so why don't you just go worry about that UTEP game that's going to put you over the top to three wins.

We beat 2 ranked teams in 3 seasons. OM fan says that isn't good enough. We have lost to zero unranked teams in 3 seasons. Still not good enough.

What he's saying he really wants... is Houston Nutt. Sneak up and beat a #4, when you have, arguably the BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY, only to turn around and lose to the likes of Vandy, Wake Forest, and South Carolina. Combined record: 22-17.

I like how some of these guys love to post shite from the sixpack or Gene's page yet stick to their 5-6 talking points EVERY time.

1)it's the offseason and there's nothing to talk about

2)the same talking points come up every year.

After 2009 season:
Ole Miss fans: Will State beat anyone in the west not named Ole Miss next year?
State fans: We were inches away from beating LSU this year and we'll be more improved in every aspect of the game next year so we'll win that game. Plus we'll probably beat Auburn

After 2010 season:
Ole Miss fans: So you only beat Ole Miss again, will you beat anybody in the west next year not named Ole Miss? Does it not bother you that Mullen can't beat anybody in the west but Ole Miss?
State Fans: There was an interception that cost us a game, and Auburn won't have Cam next year. They only won because of Cam so we'll destroy them next year without their rented mule.

After 2011 season:
Ole Miss fans: So it's that time of the year again, Mullen still hasn't been able to beat anyone in the west besides Ole Miss. You're not worried about this? Will he beat anyone next year?
State fans: We played the defending national champion Auburn team pretty close. It's pretty tough to beat any defending national championship team, especially at their own field. Next year we'll be playing at our place so we'll more than likely win that. Plus who has beaten Arkansas, Bama, and LSU?

It's just a question. It gets asked every year after Mullen only beats us in the West. I'm just curious if you are concerned that he only seems to be able to win the easy games and can't beat good teams. Right now he's getting by because he's still winning the egg bowl, but I was just curious how State fans would react if he Freeze did in fact turn our program around and Mullen went winless in the West.

and why do I think we won't be terrible forever?
-We have an AD who gives a shite
-We have new coaches that give a shite
-We have a coaching staff that puts 100 times more effort into recruiting
-We don't have Houston Nutt not giving a shite
-We don't have Damnit Tyrone who can't come up with a way to defend the option after 3 years.

You weren't saying that in 2009. I was here. Most Rebs here laughed at Bundy's 7-5 predictions let alone 9-4.

9-4 was laughable and so was 7-5. Bundy had no clue Keenum would be out when you played Houston, and AJ Green would be out when you played Georgia, and Florida would go from amazing to completely terrible. Your record that year was more due to other teams injuries/suspensions and Florida's implosion than it was State just getting that much better.

More than likely Bundy's prediction was something like:
"We were inches away from beating LSU last year but we didn't because of Tyson Lee. This year we'll be replacing the midget with Chris Relf who is essentially the same as Tim Tebow but he's a better runner. So we'll win one against LSU.

We played Auburn close, and they won't be very good next year. They have Cam but just because he did good in Juco doesn't mean he'll do good in the SEC. We'll beat Auburn easily.

Our players will be fired up about the Houston game after losing next year. Our defense will be much improved so we'll beat Houston.

etc.."

I can almost guarantee you that's what his prediction said, and that is laughable. You did not beat LSU like he predicted you would. Cam was alot better than he thought he was going to be and you did not beat Auburn. Chris Relf did not turn out to be Tebow but better. And you beat Houston because of Keenum being out not because your defense was just that much better that year.

Don't act like Bundy saw it coming and predicted it.
