Haven't seen a big win since that one game where Jerious Norwood ran all over UF.

that's what he's trying to do? Damn...I thought he was trying to section off his posts or something.

He's come close several times, so yes he will. It took possibly the game of Patrick Peterson's life for LSU to hold on and beat them a few years ago. He nearly beat Auburn and Alabama last year.
The guy is a good coach. Is he a great coach? I can't say, but if he ever gets a QB that can run and pass, look out.
For me Dak is too inconsistent as a passer right now, however this is a new season and he might improve his skills and be the QB Merlin needs real bad, the duel threat kind.
I think the SEC west is gonna be even more stacked than normal this year. Ole Miss should be good, A&M will still be good, Arkansas will be a lot better, Miss State should be pretty good, and LSU, Bama, and Auburn will all be stacked.

We will beat A&M but thats not a BIG win. We will take one from Bama/aub/LSU

He might beat TAM this year but I am not sure it will be a big win by the end of the season.

When was the last time State beat LSU? It's got to be close to 30 years now.
once since divisional play began in 1992. They won in 1999 due to a late go ahead TD that was incorrectly ruled a TD on the field.

2000 - #10 Florida
2000 - #18 Auburn
2007 - #15 Auburn
2009 - #20 Ole Miss

That's literally it.

Wasn't the win over Auburn in 2012 considered a big win at the time?

And yet Ole Miss has finished ahead of us three times in SEC play since 2004.

Yes -- before they tanked the season. Tennessee as well at the time the game was played. A "Big 6" win is a pretty big deal for us regardless of how down they are at that point in time.
Since at least 2001, we have a tendency to unravel the seasons of teams that lose to us. In the Croom error, it generally spelled the end for that coach.
