I'm sorry to inform you, but LSU was broken by MSU during the first game of the season.
Now as for the "decade long tailspin" I think you know deep down inside that LSU has proven to be more like a cockroach than any other program. Every time folks think they're finally dead, they rise from the ashes.
They'll get a new coach and win another Natty in a few years.

Bama beating this 3-4 LSU team is going to break them? Eh don’t get your hopes up. It’ll be a beat down but that’s it. Nothing more to see. Don’t think that LSU is going to go away. They’ll be back in the mix next season.

LSU has a culture problem. Players quitting left and right. Culture starts at the top. LSU is done for the foreseeable future. Saban will put an exclamation point on O’s tombstone Saturday. He will be a dead man walking from here on out until LSU can afford his buyout in 2023 and then the new guy will need years to rebuild. Sad days in Red Stick, fellas. My sincerest condolences.
