Auburn fans will turn on Pearl with a quickness when he leaves. Popcorn stocked up and ready to go. Barners better get Gus to fork up some dough if you guys want to really be a basketball school. All hands on deck.
Will the football program even be around 5 years from now? Maybe just go down to D2 like Nova does?

That may be true some of the Clemson sidewalk football fans but I think most hate UNC and DUke.
But if you make that claim about Clemson fans, it seems like you would have to make that claim about SC fans too. lol

Honestly, if Pearl left, I'd probably still love him like most of the UT fans here. He made us relevant and breathed life into a dumpster fire of a program. Even when we sucked his first few years, his teams were fun to watch and people at AU cared about the program.

They have made the FCS playoffs a few times. There not a bad program at their level
