whats the prediction for them this season?

It's a VERU tough season to predict. I'd put the over/under at 7 wins.

Reasons to take the over:

* The OU game was the only game we weren't in last year. We should have won a lot more games, so there is reason to think we were better than our record indicated.

* The offense, which was good last year, is returning almost everybody.

* New coaches, new excitement.

Reasons to take the under:

* SEC will take some adjusting to.

* New coach, new system.

* While we got a lot of guys back on offense, we are replacing a QB who was drafting in the top 10 picks.

The SEC is the Best Conference in College Sports. Aggies there is NO Buy Out to leave and the Future is always Bright.

If Arkansas or any other School feels they don't belong or can't compete, they are free to go. Personally the excitement of playing the Best week in and out is great. We have just began rising some in this league, it is tough but our fans are committed to staying in the SEC.

I expect A&M to Adjust and become a much improved program. Texas will want no part of you after about 3 seasons competing over here. You see, you get to play about 5 teams per season as good as Texas. You get tougher or you get killed.

All kidding aside, good luck in your 1st Season.

What a nice guy. I post something which, I admit, was meant to flame a little, and this guy responds in the most reasonable and nicest way possible. Points for you, dude.

You should prob play a season in the SEC before you try to talk shite to a team that destroys you every year.

Why do you A&M guys act like you have done something recently? I swear, you guys act like y'all are as good as Bama.

^ where in the hell do you get that we think we are as good as Bama?

Speaking of A&M doing well (which I'm not sure was needed in the above but that's neither here nor there) whats the prediction for them this season? I don't think I've seen any so far.

Louisiana Tech----W (hope we are not looking ahead to the next game since LaTech could easily bite us in the arse)
Florida (going to be very close,50/50
SMU----W
South Carolina State--W
Arkansas---If we play like the first half last year--W If we play like the second....arse kicking, so 50/50
Ole Miss----W
LSU----L
Auburn-----kind of like Florida, could go either way, so I have to say-- 50/50
Mississippi State-----Same as above---50/50
Alabama-----L
Sam Houston State ---W
Missouri-------W They have won so many times we are due one
SEC Championship LSU or Bama vs USC or Georgia---W for LSU/Bama

I could see us going 7-5 if we get lucky on a few tight games maybe even 8-4...or as bad as 5-7.

So, I guess my real answer is, I don't have a clue, we are way too inconsistent. It wouldn't suprise me if we lose games we are expected to win, only to win games that everyone thinks we will lose.

They're like LSU fans, without the success.

except the most important player on offense. youre oline will hide alot of the growing pains, but its still all brand new stuff to the entire offense.

switching to a 4-3 on defense will also take time, and your D wasnt all that great anyway. 6-7 wins isnt out of the question, for sure, but considering all the changes and the fact that yall only won 7 last year makes getting back to 7 seem very unlikely.

The pigs will never leave the SEC for one main reason, the one that influences the whole conference nowadays: $$$$$$$. And I am still not buying that the Big 12 or whatever it is now is going to be around in the next 5/8 yrs. Two teams are holding that conference together & if they ever get their panties in an uproar & leave, the conference folds like an old deck of cards. OU & UT make that conference.

I can easily see this happening. All it took for Nebraska to leave is realizing that they didn't influence the conference nearly as much as they did in the Big 8. They felt slighted every year in the Big 12.

If that happens to a school with a huge ego over and over, there's no telling what that school will do.

Plus, Arkansas might find the Disfunctional 12 a better avenue to reach the National Championship Game.

There's no denying that under the current BCS scheme.

However, an SEC schedule is much more exciting than a Big 12 schedule and I don't think I would trade a more exciting schedule for an easier chance to win the conference. Chances are you are going to have to play the best SEC team in the NC anyway.

There have been rumors that Arkansas was willing to talk to the Big 12 a couple of years ago. After their move to the SEC, it took them a long time to get their footing. Even after getting a very good football team, they are still in the shadow of LSU and Bama. Now, A&M has come in and A&M and LSU want to play each other on the rivalry weekend, pushing Arkansas in with Mizzou. Arkanasas has clearly felt slighted. Suppose Arkansas is unable to recover from their difficult offseason, that A&M does well, and that Arkansas falls even further back in the SEC pecking order. Is there ever a scenario in which Arkansas runs away from the SEC?

Naw, well pound your arse and Bama's arse this year. We will run away with the SEC title. You will be dreaming of how to get past the 50 and thinking about 23-0. Those were the days
