Point of fact...
Point of fact, much like when Mizzou and SC won the East, the east has been down the past two years.
SC has been rebuilding.
Florida has been recovering.
Mizzou has been rebuilding.
Tennessee is still rebuilding.
Kentucky had a couple of good years but they were really your only challenge these past two seasons. Think about that.
Beginning this year the East will prove a much tougher slate for your Dawgs so you might as well quit jizzing the last two seasons all over yourself now. Kirby hasn't proven anything yet. He's had it easy then past two seasons comparatively speaking to what Richt had to deal with in terms of competition from the East. THAT'S a true point of fact.

Yeah I know everyone has basically crowned Georgia but the SEC east looks a lot stronger now than it did 2 years ago when it was utter garbage.

I hope so. Iron sharpens Iron. I think UGA's post season failings are a result of a lack of Iron in the east. "The practices are harder than the games" is a quote that has been repeatedly coming out from the players the past couple years.

Georgia will challenge Georgia. Every year we’ve blown one game we should have won. This year might be the same

History shows when UGA fans get this cocky it blows up in their face the same exact second they sh1t their pants

I'm trying to figure this out. I honestly haven't seen any particular improvements for any East program except Vandy. Vandy is shaping up to be what Kentucky was last year... a darkhorse that is still in conversation in November.
I actually see Tenn and SC on a flatline, I see Florida probably getting worse off that 10 win season, and Kentucky dropping back into the doldrums. Mizzou, I actually know nothing about, I'm not going to pretend that I've read up on them. I haven't. I only read up on grown man football teams.

Georgia is very strong, but Florida is desperate to beat us so that game will be a challenge. The other two teams we need to be careful of are Auburn and aTm. It's our first time to play the Aggies since they came over so it will be interesting.

Two years ago, 3 SEC east teams didn't go to a bowl, and Mizzou and Uk were only 7 win teams.
So yeah... there have been some improvements lol

Not an impediment to winning the east. A lot like playing Georgia Tech. Or playing Tennessee in their worst decade of college football ever.

Well UGA plays 2 of the top 4 in the west and are favored in both.. so your comment is ridiculous

UGA has two new Cords.
UF has the second year jump from Mullen(most coaches improve from year 1 to year 2 it's pretty common)
So yes. UF has a chance. If UF stays healthy at corner and Oline, UF has a very strong team.
The biggest question is...will the OC change help or hurt Georgia? Hasn't been talked about a lot on here, but this could be what Georgia needed to get a title, OR it could worsen their offense. That cant be ignored.
Especially when the cord wasn't elite at Miami when a play caller. At FSU Jimbo ran the offense and called the plays(like Mullen at UF). Coley is an elite recruiter..but OC I would think it's fair to say he has to prove himself. It's why he didn't get an OC job after Miami I would assume.
So yes. Despite this assumption Georgia walks away with it no question, there is another top ten team in the East with a staff without two new cords, in its second year(which as stated is a proven leap year for most coaches).
To say Georgia has no challengers would be pretty crazy to me. They should be favored absolutely, but this isnt like they are in the Coastal. Missouri will put up a fight too.

You lost 2 out of 4 last year to West teams. Is it really that big of an LOL moment?

No chance. After UGA the east teams are very ACC like. Georgia will breeze to the finish line. The only challenge will be AU. You never know about UT, they might develop in the future but the league is ridiculously weighted to the west.

1980. I'd lose the cockiness. Your program is known to underachieve.

Maybe our offense offense drops off by 5 points and 50 yards, but maybe our defense improves by 5 points and 50 yards to offset that.

Coaches know they need players. I know it too. Coley chose to get paid a lot to work for Kirby smart, which was the correct job choice. He helped develop game plans last year. He made a great play cal in the rose bowl.

This is a laughably stupid take. Georgia won the SEC in his second year by crushing Auburn. He showed his ability to make adjustments against Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl (ramped up the blitzes in the second half to go after Mayfield). The only thing he hasn't proven is that his teams can finish against Alabama. Last year, they had a bad day against LSU and got their arse handed to them. How did they respond? By annihilating Florida, Kentucky, and Auburn.
