Because it seems most think we are about to take a huge step back. So who do you think has the best chance to close the gap?

Is it Michigan? ND? A SEC team?

Because there’s a big gap between Bama and everyone else I think we can all agree.

If we are getting wrecked in places like starkville, which seems like a stretch, who has the best chance to run us down?

Being able to buy players for 15 years with the SEC, NCAA and ESPN covering for your arse? No, no one will be able to repeat what bama did under saban. Too much of a level playing field now

You already got passed. Georgia woulda won the SEC in a fairly called game. That game was one final tribute to Saban, the refs' boss.

No one gives a frick about your tradition, just ask all the recruits that abandoned the sinking ship.

So you think Bama will be number one for all of time?

I can see Bama fans sliding into their new reality nicely. Living in the past.

Bama remaining the all-time #1 at cheating? Yes, easily.

You saw what we all have been seeing for years. The refs bending over backwards to help Bama at key points in the game. They did it to UGA and I’m sure UT probably experienced the same thing.

Seems like someone hasn’t been paying attention lately. The gap has already been closed for several schools.

The advantage Bama had over everyone else was high quality depth. You just lost 28 players, mostly 4 & 5 stars, over the last week, from your roster. That loss of depth not only closed the gap significantly, but brought several schools higher than Bama in overall quality depth.

Be careful they'll be here before long to tell you how akchually they're the most penalized team..

Just not when it matters... As we know.

Not a chance in hell. Saban is gone along with half your team and coaching staff. More players likely leaving too. It’s a lot like SMU getting the death penalty.

I’ve seen “living in the past” I’ve seen “cheaters!” I’ve seen “level playing field now”

But none of these are attempts to answer the original question. It’s not a very hard topic to grasp.

You already took a step back.

In his first 6 years as Bama coach Nick won 3 NCs.

In his last 6 he won 1 NC*.

Kirby won 2 NC during that time.
Dabo won 1.
Orgeron won 1.
Harbaugh won 1.

Bama will obviously not be as good without Saban, so…looks like you’ve been caught.

I think the question has been answered -many many times since GrandPaw walked out the door. I know how hard it is for the Gumps to accept but the good times are over. Get ready for 20 plus years of watching the Georgias of college football creating their own success stories. In other words - Bama is screwed!

I can post our total national championships, SEC championships, overall wins and such if you want but if I did you would clearly see we have not been caught. This thread is about who can run us down in overall success.

This really is hard for y’all to talk about ain’t it?
