Will Alabama's Jameson Williams be able to get open vs Cincinnati's Ahmed Gardner?

Ahmed Gardner is probably the best corner in the country and is projected to be an early first round pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

If Williams couldn't crack the starting lineup at Ohio State how is he going to fare against the top corner in the country?

If Williams is locked down by Gardner does Alabama have anything else to offer on offense?

It just seems that the entire bama offense is the Jameson Williams show.

He didn’t have a problem getting open vs the #1 defense in the country Saturday.

Jameson Williams has improved a lot over the year. He's become an elite receiver. Bama has a lot of young guys who are talented but haven't had a lot of experience. Holden and Brooks are playing more. I think Bama will be fine for the playoffs at wide receiver.

Gardner is good and Bama pretty much entirely relies on Williams for explosive plays. Matchup of the game imo

More importantly though, better DB name?

"Sauce" Gardner or "Kool-Aid" McKinstry

Bryce Young completed 26 passes on Saturday, 19 of them to people not not named Jameson Williams.

It's funny how Georgia was heralded as this generational defense until Bama played them.

Now they were never any good.

Certainly among the best. But, Bama has also played some top 10 CBs projected for 2022 draft and had moments.

He would Certainly be a P5 starter. That said, how many P5 schools and top offenses is he accumulating his stats against. I'd read he hasn't allowed a TD in 3 yrs, that is incredible. But, also, he is used more to takeaway the bigger body receiving threats. Jameson is more about speed and playing within the scheme to create opportunities

Jameson will be the fastest player in uniform for the game. He will create space.

Bryce needs to deliver the ball on time and on target to not waste those chances that appear.

I think the game is a good matchup. Their strength is pass D, Bama's is passing O. They lean on their run to establish offensive opportunities; Bama had a top 5 rushing defense this year.

Bama will have their hands full if they aren't focused, prepared, and execute well
