LSU was lucky as shite to win a title in 2007 with 2 losses. No one would argue that.

Just like Bama was lucky as shite to get a rematch against a team they lost to at home in a national fricking title game after losing their own damn division.

I'm not taking anything away from anybody. And who the hell is obsessing? it's a game played by 19 and 20 year olds.

But any rational person should be able to take the blinders off and see that game as the media fueled atrocity that it was. If it was Ole miss instead of Alabama with the same circumstances, and Texas instead of Oklahoma state, then that do-over bowl never happens and you fricking know it.

Nice zinger, bro.

When logic fails, and it always does with you guys, resort to shite slinging.

That jeopardy reference was a killer, too. Never seen anyone do that.

And still obsessing.

Thank God Al Queda isn't as dedicated and delusional as you, we'd be in a world of hurt.

Bama was voted into the BCS Championship Game. NOT voted into a rematch.

It just so happens that the other team that got in was a team Bama had already played.

I know it's hard for you Bama fans to understand, but there's actually other things out there besides college football to enjoy.

This may come as a daunting realization, but the talent level and subsequent production of a group of 18-20 year olds is not the measuring stick for most people's quality of life.

As for my obsession, I haven't said anything that isn't true, so you've resorted to criticizing me for saying it rather than debunking it. Unusual.

And lost to.

At home.

Making them 1-1 against quality teams that year.

And 2nd in their division.

Yet still worthy of a title shot, somehow.

fricking absurd.

Like sex, you should try it.

Well, considering that the football we know is mainly a US sport, and considering there are more people in the world NOT in the US than there is IN it, I concur.

Glad you admit it.

Maybe, but you don't believe what you've been saying to begin with. You wanted LSU to destroy an overrated OkSt team.

Why spend time debunking it? As you said:

Calling people delusional and saying things are "fricking absurd" is not using logic. My original comment was very calm and logical:
quote:

There was a legitimate debate, but it wasn't clear cut. And once Alabama was selected (BARELY) and beat the hell out of LSU, it became a moot point for everyone outside of Louisiana. I'm truly sorry that so many of you can't get past it - I like and respect LSU. But nobody else cares that you played a team that arguably should not have been there, just as nobody cares when the NCAA gives excessive penalties or violates their own rules when a program is guilty of at least some of the charge. You can complain to the end of time, but it doesn't change anything.

You find that delusional and that I am a homer. Why should I bother trying to engage you in a conversation? You came in showing the world that you are swamp trash and blinded by stupidity and bitterness. You can't be a dick in your very first comment and then play the "you're calling me names" card.

Bama's been better AWAY from BDS the past few years.

PSU would have been a lot better if the Sandusky stuff hadn't forced JoePa out. Auburn was a good team that year as well.

And 2nd in their division.

1st in the nation

Yet still worthy of a title shot, somehow.

Because anyone who actually knows football would agree that Bama would beat Oklahoma State, easily. It'd look like the Bama/Arky game, IF OkSt could score 14.

There's zero chance that Alabama doesn't go to the BCSCG if they win out.

Truest statement in the thread. The rest is just noise.

LSU fans had a magical year and a great team, and they are crushed that the BCS championship game wasn't a walk in the park as expected.

I wanted LSU to play the proper opponent: A conference champion they had not already beaten.

And I liked the "sex" comment. The classic "I don't like what he's saying so I will take an off the wall, unoriginal dig at him."

You ever been apart of a team in sports? At any level, even your Middle School team?

Barely winning in OT by 3 when the other team's coach went full retard isn't "beating", it's winning.

Ahh, the "I'm upset that he called me out for never having sex, so I'll deflect his comment at him and act like it's stupid."

Depends:
If its 12-10, maybe some

If its 35-10, nope.

This is a rivalry game and 1 point win is huge. Guys play above their heads and strange things happen. Guys score TD's who have never played. I celebrated 12-10 just as much as I did 41-17. Its freakin UT man. Just seeing those 2 uniforms on the field together alone makes me love being a Bama fan

Which is better? 1 loss to a top 5 team or 2 losses to a #17 UK team and an UNRANKED Arkansas team

Bama and LSU were the 2 best teams that year...the 1st game which I attended in person, was a close game that clearly showed both teams were the best that yr

If it was Texas and they lost to Iowa St and Ole Miss lost an OT game to #1 LSU hell yeah they get another chance

Ok State's loss was the equivalent of Bama losing to Vandy if that happened any year to an SEC team in a title hunt hell no they don't have a chance...not Bama, not LSU, not UF, not UGA

Either team in the SEC would've run Ok State outta the stadium that year and you know that, that's why you mad the correct thing happened...the BCS picked #1 vs #2

LSU fans can whine all they want but it was pretty clear who the best 2 teams that year were

It doesn't matter. An undefeated Alabama will play in the title game. A 1-loss bama most likely won't.

Agreed but I really don't see another loss happening except maybe the Iron Bowl

But I agree a 1 loss Bama team will likely go to the Sugar Bowl
