I agree, but Alabama had a shitty resume the year they didn't win their own division and still got in. I mean frick, prior to the title game they played 2 good teams an beat one of them.

Voters and the media love Bama. Body of work compared to less "important" teams means nothing.

Glad you've had this realization.

When the 2nd best team out of 6 over a 12 game sample size gets to play for a NATIONAL championship... shite, it'd be hard not to realize a few things.

Lol reading comprehension

"Prior to the title game"

There's not an argument for what happened in the title game, but you're fricking delusional if you think there's not a legit gripe about how y'all got there.

I was making the reference to LSU's dumbasses putting a moral victory on a ring and actually being proud of just being SEC Champs and second in the country.

Simple. Anyone who knows football would predict Bama to beat the shite out of Okie State. So Bama should go. IDGF about "resume", it's about who is better.

Not like it matters, LSU fans only real gripe, and you're fricking delusional if you think otherwise, is they knew Okie State didn't have a chance, and deep down they knew Bama was the better team and would win a rematch. So shut up while we worry about something more important than LSU.

Buttchuggers bout to get it in the arse.

Settled. Done. Champions deserved it.

There was a legitimate debate, but it wasn't clear cut. And once Alabama was selected (BARELY) and beat the hell out of LSU, it became a moot point for everyone outside of Louisiana. I'm truly sorry that so many of you can't get past it - I like and respect LSU. But nobody else cares that you played a team that arguably should not have been there, just as nobody cares when the NCAA gives excessive penalties or violates their own rules when a program is guilty of at least some of the charge. You can complain to the end of time, but it doesn't change anything.

Delusional bammers. Staring simple logic in the face and defying it for the glory of the crimson TAHD. Pitiful, ridiculous homerism.

Anything but a homer, my gumpy friend. Nice rebuttal.

It's okay to admit you got lucky as frick that the voters have a hard on for you. Bama is a media darling, and you guys benefitted from that. Just don't bite the hand that feeds.

I would debate this, but I just returned from the restroom where I pushed out a massive turd, and it's clear that the turd can create a more intelligent argument than you.

You're arguing that a team who couldn't win its own mother fricking DIVISION over a 12 game sample size deserved a national championship.

Let that shite sink in and then come talk to me about intelligent arguments.

That game was a slap in the face to any rational person with an ounce of belief in logic or fairness. And you've deluded yourself into thinking it was legitimate.

Considering the circumstances of that one game and the sheer dominance in the others, plus the clear talent and coaching advantage Bama had over Oklahoma State...

Considering all that, it's still ridiculous.

If it wasn't your team that benefitted from it, you'd probably feel the same way.

FIFY. Choke on an elephant dick (which needs to be incredibly long, because you can't seem to get within 50 yards of it).

I wouldn't call it lucky...how easily you forget LSU's backdoor NC after 2 OT losses

Bama was the best team that yr & I think they proved it

No. It's a slap in the face to the University of Alabama and the people of Tuscaloosa who without a doubt, after what happened that April, wanted it more than anyone, and people like YOU try your damn hardest to take that away from them. And I know exactly what you wanna say. "They let a football game played by kids determine their self worth?"

They have every damn right to look for happiness in something after 4/27. And it's YOU defining your self worth by STILL obsessing over it almost two years later. You don't give a damn about fairness or rationality, you know LSU would have destroyed Oklahoma State, and you know that the chances of doing the same to Bama weren't high. So before you run around trying so hard to take something away from people who so desperately wanted SOMETHING to be happy about, please look in the mirror and realize what you're really saying and why you're saying it, and I really hope for your sake you figure it out.

And I'll go ahead and beat you all to it.

"Got him".

" "

" "

Appreciate your interest in a two year old game.

Actually yes because some people out there are dumb enough to apply transitive property and think it's a legitimate argument
