Fair enough.
Y’all’ve gotten so used to it, you don’t realize it.
aggy was created by horns as a response to A&M calling their school, t.u.
While silly, it made sense, coming from those dorks (it was a rivalry thing).
I was just wondering why some LSU folks took to copying ‘em.

Alabama won like 5 conference games last year. They've been apathetic for awhile now

The precise reason why you didn’t see a single thread on this board after we swept Bama this weekend (unlike another fanbase whose team also swept a mediocre squad).

I don't know any Aggy that considers it a rivalry. We kicked LSU's arse so thoroughly and so repeatedly they pulled the most chicken shite move in the history of college football history and backed out of the contract because they "couldn't build a program starting 0-1 every season."

Texas is not your rival either then: 75-37-5

The most chicken shite move in history would be be to whine like a bitch about the LHN and leave the conference like the wet pussies a7m are. Then be willing to play Texas in all sports, but football. Talkabout chicken shite.

I’m not sure why LSU calls us their arrival either. Their A.D., their coach, their fans all or obsessed with us.

The overall series is 33-20-3. LSU

You have to go back A LONG WAY for little brother Aggie to have any clout when Aggie dominated from 1899- 1923.

After that, they had a five year run of victories over the tigers in the nineties! Which was only a five year run

And it was LSU in the nineties!

But LSU now holds a 7 year arse whoopinng streak and it’s not even the best streak in the history of the two programs. That occurred from 1960- 1969. Where LSU beat that little brother arse going 9-0-1.

Cheer for that tie. Which, at the time, was a moral victory!

Lmao @ aTm; and their overpayed coach.

LINK

Fact is. The only school to hold a seven year in a row victory lap; is LSU.

Going back to 1899!

Which is why they overpaid for their coach!

This really cannot be ignored honestly. LSU was a total dumpster fire in the 90s. Hell, my peewee flag football team probably would've given LSU a run for its money that decade. Everyone was beating LSU in the 90s. Those LSU/Florida games in particular were just awful save 97.

Prior to 1990, LSU had a .64 win percentage all-time which was 12 out of 109 teams, but from 1990-1999, we had an abysmal .48 win percentage coming in at 62 of 112 teams. LSU's darkest decade

I didn't know this backstory. I started doing it probably because I saw it done here, and mostly bc I'm a lazy typer on mobile. But now that I know it may rustle some aggy feathers, I see no reason to stop

I figured as much.
Surprised to see LSU folks copy horns; it’s why I asked.
As for the “rustle” factor ... few things get to us; deliberately misspelling our name isn’t one of ‘em.
There isn’t a fanbase with thicker skin.

LSU this season will live or die by its offense (just like every season). If LSU's D is anywhere near what people are expecting, I don't see A&M beating LSU this fall. The talent disparity is still a major factor that's in LSU's favor.
