A&M hasn't beaten LSU in football since 1995. Now, I know there was a big gap between 1995 and 2011, but a seven game streak is a kick in the dick.

I would think Jimbo will overcome Coach O, but who knows. LSU just seems to dominate A&M at the right time of year.

Donno why they consider it a rivalry, to be honest. Much like Alabama-Tennessee, it hasn't been in a rivalry in years.

I don't know any Aggy that considers it a rivalry. We kicked LSU's arse so thoroughly and so repeatedly they pulled the most chicken shite move in the history of college football history and backed out of the contract because they "couldn't build a program starting 0-1 every season."

As a UF fan, you know about getting your arse year after year by Jimbo.

But here’s Reveille in some campus bluebonnets.

Dang, the butthurt is strong with you. It was over 20 years ago, time to let it go.

Also, LSU tried to rekindle the series a few years later. Here was the reason Byrne said it wouldn't happen:

quote:

"There are several factors that do not work in favor of a series with LSU at this time. Our current league schedule of playing nine games and combined with needing a minimum of six, and preferably seven, home games makes it difficult."

Byrne wouldn't schedule LSU for the exact same reasons LSU cancelled.

Oh, y'all also lost to USL...the team LSU found to fulfill its contract obligation. A&M lost. To USL. USL.

You’re talking about a game played before most current players were alive. You lost to TROY last year.

Damn, it would suck to get blown out by a team that lost to Troy I imagine.

Definitely a trend. Of course, the same can be asked about LSU ever beating Bama again.

And yet your fans repeatedly bring up a contract older than that game.

Sure, LSU lost to Troy. LSU also stomped a mud hole in aggy not even two months later. 7 straight losses to LSU. 7. Troy beat LSU and aggy couldn't. Bringing up Troy doesn't make A&M look good, chief. You may want to reconsider your strategy.

their conference to escape the shadow of the state’s premier academic and athletic institution?

I’m not sure why LSU calls us their arrival either. Their A.D., their coach, their fans all or obsessed with us.

It’s sort of awkward

You certainly seem to be an authority on the matter given the fact you're always in every LSU related thread, as well as your sig pic, and being "dean of admissions, LSU" and all...

The conference is in a wierd position right now. There's a chance A&M never beats LSU again, LSU never beats Bama again, Tennessee never beats anyone again, Kentucky never beats UF again and UF never beats UGA again. What a great time to be alive!

Nah, that's impossible. We're less than 9 months from that happening.

Try not to hijack this thread. This thread is about SEC teams not beating other SEC teams again.
