We only need LSU to beat you if someone else can too (Auburn). Otherwise it works out better for A&M to have a strong Bama.

No thanks. Our best chance to get in the playoffs (yes... very remote I know) is for Bama to win out and for us to win out.
Hopefully 2 teams get in from the SEC. 90% chance of that not happening but still our best hope.

A&M has yet to beat LSU in the SEC. The fact that they think they will beat us every year is comical.

Your best chance is for LSU and Auburn to beat Alabama. Taking your chances on getting in without an SEC title is not what you want and less likely

Which eliminates the other chance.
So this weekend for us it can go either way, but if LSU does win we are all Tigers for the Iron Bowl.

My opinion. I think our best chance is as I described. You don't have to agree. There are going to be a a lot of 1 loss teams. If Bama were to lose they would be a 1 loss team as well.
Of all the 1 loss team our loss to Bama would be the best 1 loss. Slim chance of getting in but it would be there.
Seems to be more possible than hoping Bama loses twice.

We need Bama to win out and stay #1 in dominant fashion. It's our only real shot.

I think you have to be a real football fan with some understanding of how the college playoff system works and have some idea of the upcoming top 10 matchups later this year to understand this.
