You have never had a Eddie Sutton or Nolan Richardson type coach lead Vols men BB. The fan support and facilities are definitely there for TN.. So much potential! It's just never come together to produce any National accomplishments yet. Maybe this year ...who knows?? It sucks that the Hogs have been mediocre for so long...Yall have a great basketball team this year. But the Hogs have made massive national noise in 3 different eras. Triplets ,MayDAy, Corliss, Scottie, Big O, Beck, Ballentine U.S. Reed, Greatness is in Arkansas Basketball's DNA. I CHALLENGE YOU, RICH, To find 15 programs with a better All-Time Basketball Pedigree than Arkansas. You see son, Final Fours from 1978 still mean something...Its a heritage, a DNA. We will be back at some point ripping off wigs again and our historical accomplishments will be just as relevant then as they are now. SEC!

Arkansas is Top10 in Final Four Appearances, Top 15 in Winning %, The 32 NCAA appearances are up there too. Only 33 Programs have ever won a basketball natty and when you look at our Title plus the other metrics it is impressive.

It is all how you look at it. The tourney was less games before 85. The big stats of All Time win%, Final Fours, conference titles, NCAA appearances, National Titles, Title game appearances, sustained achievements over different eras, and etc. should weigh heavy in a grading system.
