A true powerhouse and competitor strives to excel in all things. I remember Michael Jordan being furious he couldn’t compete with Tiger Woods on the golf course. Auburn is a better University for their commitment to basketball. Only weak minded schools refuse to excel in all things. Just look at Vandy, they refuse to compete in football and that losing mentality has spread to the once good basketball program. Don’t give losing a chance in any endeavor.

In your little SEC basketball bubble, I’m sure Auburn does seem loud compared to our sh*tty Coleman Coliseum, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, etc. Venture out and check out a game at Duke, Michigan State, Michigan, UNC, UCLA, Oklahoma, etc, then get back to me. Auburn isn’t on their level.

I mean ok, you got a great team THIS SEASON, you’re all a little pumped. But, let’s not act like traditionally Auburn court is on anybodys radar.

He wouldn't. They don't care if he cheats or throws unauthorized BBQ's. It's all about beat Bama.

when UGA hires a good coach and *literally* the only reason pearl is any good now (GA HS talent) dries up and AU returns to the barbee years he'll have no choice

NCAA held our PG position hostage last season for a sham reason. Aside from that, our last two are Jvon McCormick and Wendell Green. Zep Jasper if you want to include him. Why did so many teams not go after them? Cope harder. LSU, Bama, and Kentucky cheat their asses off, and still can't get past a way cleaner program Pearl actually recruits. You seem to just buy any top guy that will have you.

Maybe he will receive a "strong-arse offer".

It is a shame that he can't be a beacon of integrity like Coach EO, Coach LM or Coach WW....true role models!

Never said that, goalpost mover.

Care to share the rosters of pearls best teams at Auburn? Where they came from?

It's logical reasoning that once he can't get he best players from Georgia anymore, his team won't be as good. It's not an insult and it's not hard to comprehend. It's the exact same thing that happened to Tennessee once Richt started locking down the border from them.

Not take away from this years team, which is pretty damn good. There is a difference between being an elite program, and having an elite team. Auburn is not an elite program yet.
That being said, there is no reason for him to want to leave now. But if he can’t keep recruiting Jabari smith jr’s, a blue blood might be pretty tempting for him.

Are you drunk? Do you know how ridiculous you sound? For one, you imply he can’t get good players from anywhere else and for two, which should be one, you assume Georgia will hire a coach that will out recruit Bruce. Good luck LMFAO

Are you retarded? The only arena's on that list that are louder than Auburn's are Duke and Arkansas. Oklahoma is a joke.

Other than possibly Kentucky, none of the college basketball blue bloods would ever offer Bruce Pearl a job given his history. There's a reason he had to take the Auburn job in the first place.
