Well looky here, Aggie finally grew some balls in 2012 and now you're beating your chest and talking like you aren't a lil' brother anymore.

I know I speak for most Arkansas fans in saying.....

It sounds like Aggy believes the longhorns owned the refs.

They received much more preferential treatment than what you guys think Bama getting now.

That is the understatement of the year, there are so many well documented instances of games been decided in this horrible fashion

Ask Oklahoma state or Iowa State or even Kansas

What is this faux obsession y’all have with honor?

You’re current coach is under the scope already and he hasn’t coached a game yet. Where’s the outrage there?

That's funny right there. I don't care who you are.

They cannot be trusted do why break a contract with a much more nationally prominent opponent for a weaker opponent that cannot be trusted to fulfill their obligations

Add Texas to the open slot, morons. You don’t need to drop Miami to play Texas. You don’t need 3 cupcakes in non-conf play.

Florida plays FSU and has had Miami or another P5 in the same year. Georgia plays Tech and schedules another P5. Same with South Carolina.

The SEC has an 8 game schedule, while others have 9. So why are you scared to schedule two P5 OOC opponents LOL

Aggy can correct me if I am wrong, but I think the complaint is that they would lose a home game.

Aggy plays 3 OOC cupcakes at home. Adding Texas and keeping Miami costs them a home game. That's a big ask for anyone. That's giving up $7-8 million dollars in revenue.

You’re trying so hard to pretend they don’t own your head. I applaud the effort.

Face it, when it comes to CFB, your ‘honor’ is about as fake as your army.

I’ve seen rescue animals piss themselves when large males that trigger PTSD walk in the room.

It’s real.

They need 8 home games? Almost everyone else in the country has 6 or 7. 7 is seen as the ideal number. How much revenue is a FCS home game generating?

You have 4 SEC home games + Miami/Texas + 2 cupcake home games = 7 home games.

eta - I find it hard to believe 2 cupcake games against directional schools exceed the revenue of 1 home game against Texas every other year.

Its a rivalry game and that hate needs to be settled on the field just like the other heated rivalries in the sports world. I'm a Horn. I liked the trash talk with Aggies over the rivalry, made football more fun. Sports would be worse if the Iron Bowl, The Big Game, Duke/UNC, Florida/FSU, and other rivalry games just ceased to exist.

Would you drop Miami from your schedule this year and replace it with tulane?

We wouldn't drop the Miami game because it pays like a bowl game.

But we would schedule Tulane every year if they played us on our terms.

We have the leverage. Tulane knows this. Our last series with them was when they agreed to give us 3 home games in exchange for one game in the Dome. We just told them to piss off in baseball after getting fed up with them jacking up ticket prices when they host us.

Just like we had the leverage with Aggy and told y'all we would play on our terms. And you did. You came running to us to save you from your big bro. We said "Sure, we'll be your new big bro if you need a safe space". And here we are.

Someday maybe all that oil money will buy Aggy some leverage so you don't have to play road games in Lafayette and Ruston.

No. Aggy has 7 home games. Take away a cupcake and they drop to 6 home games every other year.

Aggy Attendance Per Game

2 minutes on Google and I found that.

They were at near capacity for all 3 home cupcakes. They may be able to charge more for the Texas game, but it can't be that much more. They would stand to lose at least $6 Million every other year to add Texas.

Yeah the other part that nobody has really talked about is that we have an unbalanced home conference schedule because the Arkansas game is neutral. Even years like this year we have 3 conference home games and have been making up for that with Clemson at home this year or UCLA in 16 or in the case of 2022, Miami.

Texas has USF already set for away in 2022 and understandably wants the other big OOC team that year at home (since they booked Bama at home that year too). Having one less OOC home game in a year we already only have 3 conference home games is something we are probably not very interested in. The schedule logistics don’t match up but that’s not fun to talk about on a message board.
