Usually was a decent game. Is it that UK does not need or want the game? Did IU back out?

Probably the same reason UK and IU don't play in basketball.

Indianians (sp?) are a bunch of pussies.

Tough to have two permanent OOC games on the schedule.

UK already plays Louisville every year.

UK is the one that backed out of hoops, say the IU people. But the UK fans blame IU. They are both wrong, but whatever.

Why doesn't aTm play Texas? Why doesn't LSU play Tulane? It because your taking away a guaranteed home game on the schedule.

UK will play IU in Lucas Oil Field. They want the games in Bloomington.

Will UK play in Yum or Freedom? It works both ways.

In no way is either right in that deal.

Freedom is beyond a dump. Hell yes, the admin brought up playing in Yum...IU said no. Like I said, UK said they would play IU at Lucas and Yum.

I have never heard Yum being mentioned until just now.

If UK plays in Yum then IU should play in Bankers.

The only thing that should be in Lucas is the old Invitational they had at Hoosier/RCA. That was great games.

But again I think IU UK need to play in football every so often. It is a rivalry game and a good one usually.

This is the main reason, but if I were UK, I would want to play IU, but that would be a home and home, and they already have that with Louisville, and you would lose at least one home game.

You're not suggesting UK has a cup cake schedule already. We play Southern Miss this year and at Hattiesburg next year. Southern Miss probably could beat us, USC, Mizzou, and Vandy if they were in the SEC this year.

UK won 10 of the last 12 and IU freaked. They cancelled the series.

Plus the brawl on the field last time we played them was the last straw.

Where did I say anything about easy schedule? IU would beat UK this year probably and last year they would have for certain. I am talking rivalry only and it was usually a good fun game to watch.

In two years is when Stoops will have UK contending for bowls. They just need to learn to deal with success.

It's not up to UK whether or not they can play in Yum at this point. UofL holds scheduling rights and that's why UK no longer plays their annual non-UofL OOC game here.

Freedom Hall couldn't accommodate the game at this point. It's gotten pretty bad.

Meh. Outside of a couple instances (specifically Louisville), Calipari likes to schedule neutral games in the OOC to help prep his younger teams for potential tournament venues. I have no issue with that. He offered to play ALL games in a potential IU/UK series at Lucas Oil and they said no. If they can't be satisfied with that then frick them.

I wouldn't mind playing them in football, but their admin made asses of themselves over the basketball deal so frick them.

We had to replace the UAB game. Southern Miss was the only option to fill the slot this year. Had to agree to a home/home with Southern Miss n

UK is scared of IU football. LOL. They had to drop them and replace them with EMU to have a 1% shot of winning 5 games.
