Guys, you do realize we have a playoff where 12 teams will play actual games on actual fields where the results will be seen and known. Y’all arguing like you have to convince Doris the editor’s secretary at the Albuquerque Daily News to vote for you.
Who cares who has the stronger conference. The champ will be seen by all.
SEC fans have been saying for decades they are the best conference, yet I’ve seen Clemson, FSU, Michigan, Ohio State, and others win Natties. BIG fans think they are best. So what. We’ll see come December and January. Didn’t we all just watch ND beat the SEC champ in the playoff last year? And ND isn’t even in a conference.

Texas will not be ranked at end of the season. They play no-one with a legitimate chance to best them until playoffs
