What successful coach in any sport doesn't have an ego? His ego was annoying before this year when he wasn't winning big game, but it is awesome and needed to maintain success at any program.

If you were good at anything you would probably have an ego too.

the same Miami that hired Jimmy Johnson? Most successful people in general have enormous egos

There is a difference between confidence and a big ego. The latter infers cockiness without justification.

"Without justification"? His team is #4. What other justification does a football coach need.

And because he's getting everything he wants at State and finally has a stable of quarterbacks that can run his system like he wants to. The only job(s) Mullen would leave for would be Penn State or Michigan.

So you think an SEC head coach can't justify his arrogance? Can you not be confident until you win a National Championship?

Ole Miss gets butt-hurt when they realize Mullen is here for the long run & we will most likely own them until he leaves.

I'd say the State Penn Pederasts effectively turned him down, or vice versa, last year.

Apparently it takes having Bear Bryant type success to justify your attitude. God forbid someone have an ego because they are the HC of a major D1 college.

Since 2009, Mullen has constantly indirectly shite on everything outside the SEC West for good reason. Of course Miami would think he's cocky.

OM fans used to laugh and call him cocky and rediculous when he spoke of "championships" but I haven't seen any of those threads this year.

Maybe, maybe not. He would be at Michigan, his mentor at Ohio State. It would be easier to win there than State. It would be interesting if he got offered
