TRANSLATIONL Chump team sitting at home with a losing record and not even a bowl game. Leeching bowl money off of other SEC teams.

Maybe he's too fat to ride on LSUs Learjet?
He doesn't need LSU's tiny little Lear.

Most of the time he just uses one of our donors' Gulfstreams

There isnt a job thats a big enough that he would ever leave Tennessee. Only place he would leave for is OU and that would be personal reasons not professional LSU could never pull him lol

Sorry noob but LSU is a far better and more prestigious job than TN.

TN is better than VT but worse than Clemson. LSU is well above.

Looking at 10-2 with no corners, a patchwork Oline, a throwaway QB, and WRs nobody thought were SEC caliber?

Ok, if you say so.

We are just as easily looking at 8-4. Heupel is a good coach but he needs to make a change at DC

Move Willie Martinez to analyst and get a better DB recruiter/coach. Problem solved. Banks isn’t the issue.

Because everyone knows he's going to OU when they fire Skeletor.

Nah. But he will hire him for DC.

Figures - All Tony V ever got here was ridicule, then he becomes the first college coach to jump straight to the majors. Now - all Heup ever gets here is ridicule, but all of a sudden he's worthy of being considered to coach your precious team. If he's so unimpressive, leave him alone.

This Tennessee team could potentially be exposed as frauds this weekend. Their P4 wins are have a combined conference win ratio of 1-17.

This whole convo about which program is “better” is comparing corndogs to oranges, because a big factor is culture playing a part in the allure of either, and ultimately it’s finding a coach who is a fit and appeals to both the culture and building a program of longevity. There are both pros and cons about either program, tbh, and good arguments either way. That said, it’s hard to picture Heupel in the LSU culture. Or maybe that’s cause I feel like fat coaches and UT are made for eachother, lmao.
Anyway, both LSU and UT have had some high highs and low lows in just the past decade alone, though LSU at least has a national title under their belt, but UT is really more of contender in the past couple years.

As for the Heupel vs. Kiffin argument—UT is in better shape now and Heupel has technically been coaching a year less than Kiffin, correct? So he’s done pretty decently in less time. But also, Kiffin has done great with working with what he has at Ole Miss, and that’s worth acknowledging as well.

Am I arguing that Clemson is actually good because of their quality schedule?

Heupel has no personality. Like look at him after they beat Bama for the first time in forever. Though I suppose that would be an improvement on Brian Kelly.

LSU would have to pay Heupel $20 million a year to poach him. Not sure why you wouldn’t aim higher though for that kind of money.
