Calling out OU for cheating is hardly being a sore loser. Sorry you hate accountability.

Oh, good gawd. Another low IQ poster. That is an answer to a question that was not asked
What answer do you want?
You asked why it is even a penalty and the answer is because there a specific rule that prohibits it.
During the game, the rules expert discussed it. After the game the SEC admitted the referees missed it. And the SEC almost NEVER admits the refs were wrong.
Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a penalty and the refs didn’t frick up.
Just enjoy the win. Sometimes it takes bad officiating to help you out.
And AU has benefited from bad officiating multiple times in the past so I don’t really feel bad for them.

I couldn’t care less about Oklahoma but you are quickly becoming the most annoying poster on the board

Note to self: Low IQ poster. Unable to interpret questions. Avoid future replies.
Because it is in the rulebook.
Why can't a QB throw the ball when he is beyond the line of scrimmage?
Because it is in the rulebook.
Why can't an offensive player move forward prior to the snap?
Because it is in the rulebook.
If you want to have some Socratic discussion about why it is in the rulebook, then say so. But the answer is pretty clear: it is a penalty because it is in the rulebook.
So you may want to reword your question in the OP, with your high IQ and all.

The question is, why is it a penalty?
Like a lot of things in football... it's a judgement call. But first and foremost, it's in the rulebook apparently. But on top of your question, why doesn’t the SEC Review Deathstar just buzz them there officials on the field for an official review before the next play. Unless them experts aren't watching the game, they just pay attention when want to.
But honestly it just points out flaws in what is and what isn't a penalty.

That is the problem, there was no huddle, he just walked out there,
That's not what happened. He walked as if he was going off the field. He was 5 yards behind the LOS. Just as we was going to hit the sideline, he ran up and got into the formation. OU quick snapped it at that moment.

Don't worry about it.
Kind of a used car salesman trick, but kudos for pulling off a Lame Kiffin trick.
It will end like Kitten's bs flopping at UT and they went full Hillbilly. They will adjust the rules.
Remember. Karma does come back around.
Be better.

You are forgetting the part where he COULDN'T sub... they were no huddle he didn't run up. He walked up and was set well before the ball was snapped. Auburn just screwed up and wasn't paying attention.

So EVERYBODY, including the SEC, says it was an illegal play...............but Sonner fans are the only ones correct in saying it wasn't illegal?
Your own radio guys said OU had been practicing it all week when it happened.

Offense is not required to tell the defense to cover a WR. It is ridiculous…
Auburn fell asleep, it happens.
10 sacks, 12 TFL that was the game….

Who said they are?
But I guess you know better than the league office and even they said it was an illegal play.

and it took an overturned TD for Auburn and a missed call for a TD for OU to win by 7.
You will learn...............
The SEC giveth and then the SEC taketh away.

I'm not disputing that the rule exists.
I'm asking why the rule exists for this particular play?
Literally every football play, both offense and defense, contains intent to deceive the other team. Why is this one different?

OU is in deep shite w that schedule. Not sure why other OU fans can’t admit they got away with one.
It wouldn’t have mattered if Arnold could hit a wide open pass down the field or if he didn’t hold the ball for 10 seconds. But I digress…
Take the W and prepare for a brutal final 10 weeks.

Do you realize how fricking low IQ you are? You provide only "Captain Obvious" answers.
"Because it is in the rulebook" is not the answer I'm looking for. I want to know why it is in the rulebook.

I could just as easily say he was walking to his assigned position.

In a way football has always ruled and adjudicated deception from the playcalling. Players have to report as eligible ball handlers especially those wearing lineman It's not just a free-for-all.
