Bottom line...Texas thinks they control the world, when aTm and Mizzou said "frick you" they got pissed like the little bitch they are. And since they're pissed and the rest of the Big 12 suck their nuts, they're all pissed too.

aTm needs to let the Texas crap go as does Mizzou with Kansas. You don't play them any longer. You have bigger fish to fry now. Ignoring Texas and KU will only piss them off more. Act like they don't exist.

I agree. You need to start hating on your SEC opponents now. Hate LSU because we hurled piss-filled balloons at your paraplegic grandmother. Hate Alabama because they've paid off the refs. Hate Auburn because they've bought all their players. Hate Arkansas because of their delusions of grandeur. Hate Mississippi State because of those god-forsaken cowbells (cheaters!). And Florida needs to let the crap go with FSU, South Carolina with Clemson, Georgia with Georgia Tech... not happening.

HOWEVER, no matter how much Aggies act like texas doesn't exist, or 'horns pretend A&M is dead to them, the truth of the matter is both schools and their alumni are always going to care about what the other school does. Too much history between the two schools, and Aggies and Horns rub shoulders too much in the real world for there not to be any back and forth between the state's two flagship universities.

I'm sorry LSU doesn't really have an instate rival anymore (since Tulane forgot where they put their athletic dept.), so I wouldn't expect you to understand. But it would take 40 years of not playing to forget about the sips.
And KU and Missouri? fugetaboutit. MU and KU have a hate that goes beyond football. I've lived up here in Kansas for 2 years now, and few rivalries in this country go quite to the bone like Missouri and Kansas. They fought a freaking war, man. Missouri burned down and sacked Lawrence, medieval style. They even set up a puppet government run by missourians to try to run Kansas themselves.

This is reality. Texas has dominated A&M in every sport over the years - so now let's see how the Aggies do when completely out of their shadow. I think it will be healthy for both schools to separate for a while.
Now, if Aggies could only forget about Baylor..... I'm not sure what that hatred is all about.

Hatred for Baylor exists because of the stunt they pulled to try and keep us in the Big 12.

Aggies don't hate baylore. Baylor hates A&M. Ags are more annoyed at Baylor for their bush league tactics to try and force A&M to stay tethered to the Big12 so they'd be assured of suckling at the teat of bevo. They're pests--nothing more, nothing less.

Baylor is also the only rival to ever KILL an A&M student.
Also, Baylor (or rather one of their graduates) is one of the reasons that A&M didn't join the SEC with Arkansas. Ann Richards was a Baylor grad who took out her anger towards Clayton Williams on his alma mater.

Saying you have an advantage and seeing it come to fruition are not the same thing. The SEC was the best league for football before A&M joined. Texas doesn't desire to be in the SEC, although if they did, it could happen in about a day & a half. A&M needed to make this move to become somewhat significant & you thought that you could keep playing your rival. Sorry it didn't work out for you and as the tee shirt says ... 76-35-5 Now GTFO.
