There will def be some tough times ahead, but they will ease into fond memories and you'll cherish those. You've got plenty of ears to bend in the meantime here it looks like if you need though.

Thanks y'all. Really. It's sad that it takes something like this to remind you how good and kind people really are. We have been so blessed with friends reaching out and taking care of us. I'm still with my mom. The hard part will be leaving her alone when I go home, probably tomorrow. But she's a strong lady, she'll make it. Thanks to each of you for caring.

Anytime. Been there and know what it's like. Don't hesitate to call her every day for awhile either. Not only will it help her, but it will you too. Glad you've got some good friends and good support, that goes a long ways and don't feel you're putting anyone out if you need them around you. Pick up the phone and call them. Alot of times, they may not, because they just simply don't know what to say, so don't think they're avoiding you if you don't see them. Seek them out if you need them.

Semo, I concur with welcoming you back. I have always enjoyed reading your posts.
I know what you are going through right now, and it's very sad. I lost an older brother a while back ago at the age of 44, due to a massive heart attack. It was very hard for a long time (you never fully get over it but learn to live with it)so know I have all the compassion in the world for you during this time.

Can't imagine, semo. Truly sorry for your loss. Very close to both my parents--don't know what I'd do if I were in your shoes. Stay strong.
