all trolling aside, Ole Miss' defense scares the shite out of me until LSU's oline finally gels
and for whatever reason, Freeze's multiple screen passes leaves Chavis up at night

Ole Miss will be interesting to watch this year. They and Auburn will give A&M more problems than some of the straight up teams like LSU or MSU.
A&M's defense has a problem with running QB's, as freaking Rice showed us.
Did I miss where Dak doesnt' run?
Your passing game against our secondary will kill us but I expect Dak to at least run for 100+ against A&M.
Just had to interject, I'll go back to watching the shite fest in this thread.

The OP's question has been answered numerous times in this thread and several other threads over the past week....
Not our problem that you have the reading comprehension of a raisin.

You must haven't seen the Ole Miss women?

Yeah I think Auburn and MSU present more matchup problems for us than Ole Miss. Our pass rush has looked much better and the secondary is coming along. The LB unit defending the run, especially against stuff like the read option, is what really scares me

which is what we run, as well.

Dak>>>>Bro at the read option and your RBs are very meh

I hate to start this debate, but Bo is one of the best QB's ive ever watched at running the read option. He doesn't have the running skills that Dak has, but his ability to read the defensive end etc. is on point.

Pank, I've only seen the Boise and parts of the Vandy game, but has ole miss used the read option that much with Wallace? It seems this year he's been in the pocket more. Maybe that's just my perception.

I haven't really noticed that part of his game much when we've played. He's certainly progressed as a thrower and I'm sure he will throw on us, but I think our defense matches up better with OM since our pass rush has looked good and the OM offensive line has looked shaky outside of Tunsil from what I saw against Boise. It should be another good game though

You're correct. But it's not because we've completely abandoned our read-option approach. hell....we still fake to the RB on most every passing plays. Bo's throwing at over 75% on the season so there really isn't a need to establish the run.

Bo hasn't pulled the ball and run off the read more than 5 or 6 times this year. Hopefully, just saving it for Bama.

The only legitimate win they had was against an LSU team that was emotionally spent from a hard fought Florida game.
I just got around to reading the OP's post, and I've got to ask if he's special needs or not with this point? Do you not remember that half our team was out on injuries and we played the most brutal streak in the country facing off against Alabama, Auburn, A&M, and finally LSU? You really think Bama facing off against a 4-8 team is remotely comparable against facing off against 4 of the best teams in the country 4 weeks in a row? Everyone was expecting LSU to kill us, but we somehow pulled this off and beat them in one of the big upsets of the year. Can the OP just admit this is one of the dumbest posts in the history of this site and we can just move on?

If he's throwing at 75% he'd be smart not running and taking the hits from alabama but I suppose you have to do it a few times so the defense has it in the back of their minds though.

This could be the best team Ole Miss has had since the 50's and 60's.

He just needs to pull it down enough to make the defense respect it. Teams are teeing off on our RBs right now.

Probably so. the problem though, as State faces it too, is that the rest of the SEC west are winning NC's, heismans, SEC championships,

Chavis can stop the greatest offensive player in the history of college football but throw a bubble screen at him and he loses his mind.

Yea I think we are quite fine with Bo keeping on the option. Or your 137 lb running backs running. Either is fine.
