RB's are the weakest position you have IMO. Your team's good but I'm not convinced they're SEC caliber backs.

Bo Wallace has looked like the greatest quarterback ever against LSU the last two years doing that. No reason Sims can't

It's more so our o line. We aren't opening holes even against bad teams. Every yard our backs have is 99% on them.

We don't have a prototypical Bama style back, but ours fit the system we run.

If stopping the Air Raid is our kryptonite, then read options with 145 lb backs is our bread and butter.

I can't ever remember giving up more than 40 or 50 yards rushing to a team who ran the read with a tiny fast back (and no other option). That goes all the way back to Demps and Rainey at UF.

Typical Ole Miss. Ask a question and they have to deflect because they don't have the ability to answer.

Lol, I answered and you chose to ignore. Typical A&M fans.

If he's throwing at 75% he'd be smart not running and taking the hits from alabama but I suppose you have to do it a few times so the defense has it in the back of their minds though.

I imagine Bo hasn't run because we haven't needed him too.

ITT we see yet again that an odd amount of people on an SEC message board do not watch SEC games besides their own, don't know about their conference opponents current teams or stats, and make broad based assumptions similar to PAC and Big 12 fans talking shite about the SEC based on past results and a lack of common football knowledge.

texAgs13, you seem very un Aggie like, you are not a gentleman apparently, very arrogant, thus I smell a side walker as they are known on this board.
Were you in the Corps? Bet not...
I was born and raised in Texas, but born to a Rebel, knock off the childish bs and argue like a grown man. Aggies should win in a few weeks in Bryan or wherever Im going, not sure yet.... Your oil and real estate endowment would make it a travesty if not....

Because this got skipped in the middle school short dick measuring contest the thread became.

I'd agree that they got this way because other teams have lost allowing them to move up by default, but if you take a look at almost any objective rating system this year you will see Ole Miss in the Top 15 and usually the Top 10.

Examples include ESPN FPI, Warren Nolan NPI, Football Outsiders' F+ to name a few. These systems try to really pick apart games that have been played and go as far as analyzing each individual play to compute how good and complete a team is.

If you look at OM's results, sure they haven't played a top tier team yet but the results of who they have played have been pretty stellar as far as complete games and results go. And the competition is better than just beating up on 3 patsies. Granted it was last year, but the teams they have beaten were all bowl teams last year and projected to do well this year (looking doubtful for Vandy). In fact, Boise State may end up running the table and if it weren't for Ole Miss beating them, they'd likely steal one of the 4 playoff spots at the end of the year so we have them to thank for that.

It's funny how the main reason you've received is because of ole miss preseason ranking and other teams losing.
LSUs preseason ranking was 13 and they've played a top 25 team, so ole miss jumping them into top 10 blows my mind too. I guess teams in front of them didn't lose.

I only watched the first 3 quarters of the Boise game but ole miss, particularly bo Wallace, looked absolutely awful.
Then, their other 2 wins came against a sun belt team and one of the worst Vandy teams in recent years. Impressive.
