We don’t have an obsession with a team we are 8-2 against since they begged the SEC to join because they were tired of their big brotha whipping that arse! You are a perfect example of being obsessed with LSU.
If you knew anything about the SEC, LSU fans are obsessed with the gumps and the gators because they are our only true competition in the SEC.

A significant portion of the “LSU” fans here have always been texass fans, but LSU was their SEC team.
Well there is a large contingent of kids from Louisiana who attended the Catholic league schools in New Orleans, boys schools like Jesuit, Brother Martin, Holy Cross, etc, girls like Dominican, MT. Carmel, etc that went to LSU as Undergrads and go to UT-Austin for MBA, Law School, etc. Same thing in Baton Rouge among Public Magnet Schools like Baton Rouge High, and Catholic HS, Saint Josephs, etc.
So surprisingly, you find people who have degrees from both Universities.
