Because that's just not going to happen. Because Alabama can't run against that front seven. That's going to eliminate 'Bama's offense. They can't drop back and throw it without the element of surprise on a regular basis.

My apologies for our folk. I've always found Bama people to be the most humble and most knowledgable about other fan bases, knowing where their teams are in the polls, what kind of chances they have at making the playoff, etc.

What have they done but beat up cupcakes: Akron, Tulsa, Rutgers, Indiana, Maryland. Their signature win is…unranked Minnesota?!
They played 1 ranked team. And lost. At home.
If they beat Mich St & Mich in the same fashion, then folks take serious notice. Until then, not buying into their indomitable offense. They’ve played no one except Oregon.

My general impression is that Bama is getting softer and softer after the transition to a pass-happy offense. And Kirby has stuck to the old Bama style of focusing on dominating at the point of attack and playing low risk offense. I think it’ll be a fascinating game that will either totally vindicate Saban’s transition or Kirby’s belief in the old way. I pretty much hate both programs, but I’d love to see that game.

As a Bama fan…Georgia is about 14 points better than this Bama team right now. Could Bama make some adjustments and come up with a great game plan and sneak out a win? Sure…but smart money is on this Georgia team. That defense is nasty and offense is good enough.

Kirby says JT is now healthy and both QBs will play in the cocktail party. Two great QBs sounds good to me. Old ClownShoes Mullen must be pulling his hair out having to prepare for 2 different QBs with 2 different styles and strengths.
