Everybody doesn't assume that. In fact, except for a couple of troll, Georgia fans have been saying it's Alabama until somebody knocks them off.

Show me a thread any thread started by a Georgia fan that states We are going to beat Alabama?
I’m not even sure we are going to beat Florida this weekend. We (the team) certainly should by all accounts but this game can go haywire with a push here, referee bad call there…

I mean, we have our own problems just like Alabama, but our offense is fine when paired with our defense.
#1 defense in PPG Allowed and #10 Offense in PPG.

A few points
1. Why is it assumed that the defense will have an off day?
2. It doesn't look like the same Bama O we've been watching the last three years.
3. It looks like a Bama D that is continually getting worse year to year.
Alabama could beat UGA. So could Ohio State. Maybe even OU at their best.

UGA has looked better than us this year. Pretty simple. Both teams play their best games, they probably win. And we seem more likely to have an off game than they do at this point. But we can certainly beat them.
I’m more interested in finishing out the regular season. That trip to the plains looks tougher than it did in September. Arky could definitely be a ballgame. LSU is talented enough but looks like they’ve quit.

- You have 1 threat at WR
- Your TEs can’t catch
- Your RBs are stiff
