That is not am Auburn word, that is a Jordan Family word.
This may shock you but when Coach Jordan was in grade school...it was pronounced Jerdan then too.
A west central Georgia/east central Alabama pronunciation of the name.
I went to Jordan High School in Columbus GA and it was always pronounced like the coach, not the basketball player.

I know. I was just trying to be funny but it turned out lame.
One Central/West Georgia word that is also pronounced differently is Houston. When I was in Macon on business the folks there pronounced Houston "Howston." Very interesting..

It's to reinforce their made up aura of being exclusive. Being "all in" is something they like to say while pretending every auburn fan went to school there. Which we know is not actually true, but if it makes them feel a smidge superior to Alabama fans, more power to them.

Kinda like how you capitalized "Alabama fans" and not "auburn fans"?

My mistake on that one. I don't think either fan is better than the other.

Because they are all related through inbreeding, I suppose.

I wonder who Auburn's version of Squeeky From is.

The Auburn family reminds me of those Whites from WV.
