LOL Why would you count Bama's record since 2007, but only LSU's since 2010

Did you not read the whole post? You have been responding like crazy to it.

Bama is 5-3 against ranked teams at home since 2010. LSU is 7-2.

LSU > Alabama during the same time period against ranked teams at home.

What are you talking about? That stat was all over my other post. I broke it down into Saban's first 3 years and his last 3 years which is more related to what might happen this year.

The butthurt in this thread is astounding. Do y'all even think about it before you make stuff up or just vomit it through your keyboard out of pure instinct? Or maybe I'm just too old to realize it's "trolling"...lol.

Are you talking about the Bama fans here? Because it seems like you are talking about them because, for the life of me I can't understand why asking why Bama has struggled at home more than on the road against ranked teams would cause people to get so upset when your team has won 3 out of 4 national championships.

Using the term "struggle" is relative, of course.

Alabama has been the best program over the last five years and the record reflects that.

I still don't understand the point of the thread...

He is responding to my post down the page when I asked why Bama is 5-3 since 2010 versus ranked opponents and 9-6 since 2007 versus ranked opponents.

He's mad and is trying to compensate for it by lashing out wildly and finding something that Bama did really well to make his point.

It is funny, because I gave Bama high praise in my post and then asked a question about their slightly above average home record versus teams with a pulse during their run.

More and more I think that LSU beats Alabama in Tusaloosa no matter the records of the teams going into that game.

Yep, you nailed it right on the head, that's who I'm talking about. Brilliant deduction sir.

Thanks.

No point in being mad about any of this, though. Bama has the titles and the bragging rights. I am just wondering if a weakness exists anywhere besides the offensive line.

Right, but what is the point of the OP? You have the best record because you have won the most.

What else is there to say

LSU went 8-5 after they won the natty in 2007. Hard to do it 2 years in a row.

Was I talking about LSU? No! I was talking about Bama dropping a few games when they played better opponents.....

LSU's record vs Ole Miss since 2008: 3 - 2

LSU's record vs. Arkansas since 2008: 3 - 2

LSU's record vs. Florida since 2008: 2 -3

LSU's record vs. Clemson since 2008: 0-1

-------

Alabama's record vs. Ole Miss since 2008: 5-0

Alabama's record vs. Arkansas since 2008: 5-0

Alabama's record vs. Florida since 2008: 3-1

Alabama's record vs. Clemson since 2008: 1-0

Bouchers vs. Gumps since 2008: Gumps 4 - Bouchers 2

I know you guys cry about scheduling a lot, but where was all this crying when Alabama was facing an arse-load of teams coming off a bye, not to mention USC and Florida rotating onto the schedule, while LSU was stuck with Tennessee and Vandy in 2010?

BAMA WAS SCREWED THAT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!1 If LSU was placed in that situation, the world would end thanks to their overly paranoid and drunken people they call fans.

And LSU has CONSISTENTLY struggled against weaklings like Penn State, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Tennessee, etc.

LSU would have shite the bed last year against Notre Dame and totally put this conference to shame...

I don't see how anyone thought this was a good idea for a thread. Pretty dumb question, also.

Why start in 2008? why not start in 2007? Stats mean nothing because you can skew them however you want and you don't want your 6-6 lose to ulm and go to the indy bowl bama team counted. I get it. You only want to count good things and it makes sense, but it isn't accurate. The fact that this thread is here baffles me. All bama fans have to say is 3/4 and the argument is done. But gumps like to pump their own ego which is why this mega troll of a user made this thread in the first place. Waste of my time.
