Therefore bama will have to start playing a more difficult schedule in order to compete..

I have seen this ad nauseam on the rant. Can someone please post the rankings where it says we play a weak schedule year after year.

if you wanna know what happens to bama when they have to play harder teams just look at 2010

LSU went 8-5 after they won the natty in 2007. Hard to do it 2 years in a row.

we've played Florida 4 times in those 5 years. UGA twice. SCar twice

Is everyone in the SEC just terrible besides Bama?

LSU has been in decline since 2007, so that pretty much opened the door for Bama to be dominant.

So Saban has connections in high schools. Every other school does too. It is called recruiting. Saban is the best at it.

Saban is 4-3 against your coach since he quit on Oklahoma State and hopped on Sabans coat tails.
One of those losses was in Saban's first year with a .500 ball club. Miles' eventual 2 loss national championship team needed a fumble deep in Bama territory with 2 minutes left to pull out a victory. Another in overtime when Bama missed multiple field goals. So it could easily be 6-1.

"They made a deal with the devil"

is the correct answer here.

You are so mad.

Why does Alabama lose at home so often to anyone with a pulse?

Looking forward to the Tigers coming back to Bryant-Denny this year to play an untested, overconfident Bama team.

Alabama has lost 3 games at Home since 2008. LSU has lost 5.

So it's because we play UT instead of UF

Let's just ignore the fact that Bama did play UF in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011

Your argument is correct.

This thread is about Alabama. Stay focused. Why are you talking about LSU? LSU is in massive decline, remember?

Why do you think 9-6 against ranked teams is "so bad"? That's WAY WAY WAY above average. Probably one of the best in the nation during that span

Yeah, but Florida beat them in 2008 and they weren't any good in 2010 and 2011. Those last two years don't count because Florida wasn't any good.*

I knew sooner or later you'd abandon all pretense of actually having a point. You're just a troll, nothing else.

Comparatively, it is worse than Bama has played against ranked teams on the road. So, there is a difference and I am wondering what it is.

For as great as Bama has been (no denying it), their home record against ranked teams is just above average. I don't think that it is WAY WAY WAY above average. Like I said, LSU is 7-2 against ranked teams at home since 2010. LSU is considered to be in decline. So, I am wondering why Bama's record is worse.

Beyond that, I am looking at the rest of this season and I think that Bama destroys A&M next week and loses to LSU in November. That is why it is relevant.

LOL Why would you count Bama's record since 2007, but only LSU's since 2010

It's not. You used two different sets of data

I was honestly just joking. I should have put the laughing face emoticon up.

I really don't believe that and have not been one to jump into the schedule threads except for I think once back when it first came up.

You play the team that lines up against you. It isn't really Bama's fault if the team that they play is any good not. They can't control that. I am just wondering why they are only winning 60-67% of their games against ranked teams at home under Saban.

Just wondering if LSU will have some kind of benefit there. We don't have many others.

Did you not read the whole post? You have been responding like crazy to it.

Bama is 5-3 against ranked teams at home since 2010. LSU is 7-2.

LSU > Alabama during the same time period against ranked teams at home.

What are you talking about? That stat was all over my other post. I broke it down into Saban's first 3 years and his last 3 years which is more related to what might happen this year.
