Nah, they have too much power to want to do that.

They've got to be the most gutless fanbase in the SEC. Sad thing is, the coaching staff feels the same way.

Really?

This after going through one of the most difficult regular seasons in the history of college football undefeated - including beating Alabama AT Alabama - and then bouncing the East champs, UGA, in the SECCG?

"Gutless"? Really?

I've got news for you, the Pac 12 champion and Rose Bowl winner, Oregon (with the 5th ranked rushing offense) and Big East champions and Orange Bowl winners West Virginia (6th ranked passing offense) didn't just happen to rotate onto LSU's schedule, they were chosen.

In short, Alabama has NEVER played as tough a schedule as LSU played last season. And now Alabama wants to avoid playing Florida as much as possible. Yeah, "gutless".

Then why all of the crying?

i don't know what you're talking about.

seems like there's more crying by y'all over LSUs supposed "crying" than any actual "crying" by LSU.

Because it isn't about the toughness of the schedule. I like going to UT. Florida is either the furthest or second furthest away trip you can make as an LSU fan. It is hard to attend that game regularly. I love going to UGA as well. We don't get to do that often enough as it stands.

so after reading all of this bull shite the only argument the gumps have is that we are "pussies" "need to grow a pair" and "whiners"

Worst attempt at deflection in the history of TD.

FWIW- I would rather AU play better teams. It makes the games more fun to watch/anticipate.

Y'all had a pretty fun to watch tilt with Utah St. last year. You should rather AU be down. Makes all of your games more fun to watch.

Why is Alabama scared to play Florida more often?

Funny how LSU is being accused of being the "scared" one for wanting equality in scheduling when it's Alabama who seems to be dead set on doing everything they can to institutionalize an easier path to Atlanta than either LSU or Auburn. And don't give me this Tennessee will be back nonsense because they aren't ever going to be as consistently good as Florida again and all of you know it.

That, plus these cretins and their lobbying dictator LOVE to check all the other teams' schedules to see who has a "Baaaaaaah" (Bye) before they play them

Cry me a river. We had Arkansas for the past 20 something years, and now we get to travel a few hundred miles further to fricking Texas every year. While Arkansas gets a much shorter trip and a more favorable opponent.

Besides this post, have you seen one of us bitch?

Can we get tennessee, florida, and Georgia on the schedule every year? Would that satisfy you? Or would you just complain that we never have to play USC? I don't care who is on our schedule as long as UT and Auburn are on it.

By preferring to keep a permanent cross division Big 6 rival that recently won 7 in a row against Alabama, the Tide once again shows that it, along with Auburn, are the teams in the west that the rest are measured against when it comes to courage and valour. They are truly lions in a land of sheep. While Alabama and Auburn recognize potential in their oversized but neurotic little brother LSU, they are disappointed in his unwillingness to step up to a challenge.

Alabama and Auburn have conscientiously chosen to avoid playing lesser teams such as Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Mizzu. and to a lesser extent USC, in an effort to ensure more competitive match ups for their players and their fans. There, I addressed your absurd argument using your same logic.

Also, stop being an argumentative pussy.

The LSU vs FL game has no impact on who wins the West unless LSU (or whatever West team) fails to win the other games. If LSU loses to FL but wins out in their other SEC games they will be in the SECCG so your argument does not hold water.

Go check out what happened to LSU in 2002 in the Florida game and ask yourself if it made a difference.

LSU beat Florida. LSU failed to beat Alabama, Auburn and Arkansas. OK??

Are you going to suggest that you got someone hurt and that because you did not have the depth you needed to contend for the SEC championship you should not have to play Florida?

Last I recall, Florida lost some player while playing Alabama this past year and then lost to LSU. Maybe the LSU loss should not count since they were without a player that they needed?

how many times did Bama play UF from 2000-2007? twice. Bama ducked 5 automatic losses right there.

UF went 9-1 against LSU in the 90's. 8-2 against Auburn.

I'm going to tell it like it is. neither Bama nor LSU wants a piece of UF as the permanent regular season opponent. save your "We'd LOVE to play UF every year" bullshite. I know you're full of shite but you won't admit it.
