maybe the NCAA tourney will make it happen like Kentucky vs Louisville back in 1983. That game occurred cause Arkansas blew the sweet 16 game against Louisville 65-63

UAB has always had a decent bit of talent

Lunardi had UAB as a 15 seed in the bracket he put out this morning.
They're 20-5, but their SOS is 299.
I'd like to see it happen, but probably not going to this year. CUSA falling apart has killed their basketball reputation.

In all seriousness to your question, it begs to be asked what is there to gain by doing it. If you beat them, it gets looked down upon that you are a bully, and if you lose, it looks bad for you and recruiting. The same question could be asked of Ole Miss. Why do they not play Southern Miss? They used to when I was a kid, but then they decided they would not play them unless ALL the games were played in Oxfart. Which is never fair. Games like that should be rotated so that each team can have a fair advantage. It is obvious why OM does not want to play USM, as many other schools can see no advantage in playing a team you could lose to and make you look bad. It is what it is. but, those are some righteous looking supporters.

Not really, thus isn't football. Since UAB started playing they have just a good or better basketball resume as bama

If by "just as good or better" you mean fewer NIT appearances, fewer NCAA appearances, fewer round of 32 appearances, fewer sweet 16 appearances, and the same number of elite 8 appearances then I guess you're right.

I'd be open to it. I think it would be cool to play them annually as an OOC opponent. Certainly better than playing the likes of Southern Miss.

Possibly the same reason Arkansas won't play Arkansas state in football.

Well, a Hog fan knows all about this. The same reason Arkansas has tried not to play UALR and ASU. All the way back, the Hogs have avoided those teams. So, you tell me why?

Well, we shouldn't anymore. I know why we used to, but that's all silly. Alabama, Auburn and UAB should all play each-other in basketball.

Are you serious OP? You ask this question when Arkansas will not play Arkansas State, UALR, UCA, UAM, etc. in any sport.
