That is NC State, they are not exactly a top tier ACC school.

I will withhold judgement on the BB coach until he has his players in place. His offense of choice requires good post play and currently there are high schools out there that have better 4's and 5's than Mizzou. You may be correct about Kim Anderson but I think it is too early to make that judgement.
Even if you are correct I would still argue that these are the golden years for Mizzou athletics and they have come under Mike Alden's watch.

I am correct, it's a matter of fact, I'm not talking about the current BB coach at all, but the previous 3...

As a Mizzou fan I would much rather see us play at UCF, Toledo or Arky State as opposed to bringing in another directional school from Louisiana.
What's the difference?

UCA was already scheduled to play Okie State that day?

It is kinda weird for an SEC school to play at a 30k seat stadium.

What is the difference you ask?
UCF, Toledo and Arky St. are all bowl teams. What too many of our SEC brethren have not figured out yet is that the OOC games are for more than just chalking up four extra wins. I realize that Arkansas needed all four of those wins to go bowling, Mizzou obviously had their goals set a bit higher.
The Indiana loss was embarrassing for Mizzou but that game helped prepare the Tigers for the conference schedule. Mizzou has followed the same pattern in scheduling for a while now.
1. FCS sacrificial lamb
2. Good G5 team (UCF)
3. Mid to low P5 team (Indiana)
4. Challenge game usually away either G5 or weak P5 (@Toledo)
Those four games usually have Mizzou ready for the conference schedule.

WTF? Didn't Ole Miss play there awhile back.

The reason the game is being played at UCA instead of being moved is some large donor ($5M or so) gave money for facility upgrades with the stipulation the game can not be moved. I guess he has a sense of humor and is getting a kick out of it.
ETA: there was a newspaper article that mentioned this, but I can't find it.

When you change conferences, your schedule gets fricked up, when your schedule gets fricked up you play in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Don't change conferences.
If they'd pay attention Mizzou fans posted links to why the OOC schedule is crappy. It's documented about the conference change messing up scheduling, have to scramble to fill schedules. Not every power 5 team wants 2-3 a home and homes in the same season with other power 5 teams. Mizzou can't force power 5 schools to fill the voids, they take what they can.
I believe UCONN, Memphis, Purdue, and BYU was thrown into Mizzou's scedule within the last 2 seasons. Yes changing conferences make you rush to fill voids. Don't see why it's hard for some to understand. I guess Lamar, Sam Houston State, McNeese State, etc are all filled with other SEC/Big 12 schools.

If you didn't embarass yourself in the SECCG, you might actually have a point

Somebody mad they couldn't take advantage of the worst two year stretch in the east history? Don't worry, when we eventually kick you back to the Big 12 for a real fit you can make it to another CG.
You'll probably just get creamed by Oklahoma again

No. It was a polite suggestion borne out of concern for you. Have a good day.
