Didn't expect to have to deal with so many "ags" this week.
Now back to the "hogs" for more fun.

b/c their most natural fit in another conference is the Big 12 and DeLoss Dodds is an a-hole who holds eternal grudges.

I have heard people say that the Big XII went after us and Notre Dame when TAMU and Missouri joined the SEC. I don't know how legit that was.

I always thought that when we came to the SEC, we should simply have traded places with Arkansas. We are a better fit in the SEC, and they are a better fit in the XII. If this would have happened, then Missouri could have stayed in the XII and both leagues would have had 12 members. Life would have been so much simpler.
This would have reunited Arky with their secret long lost crush tu, their long lost second double cousin OU, and bastard step cousin OSU.

Actually, the Big 12 already came calling, but we said 'no'. Remember all that talk of Arkansas leaving for the Big 12? You think they were actually going to release news of Arkansas turning them down? My sources said they inquired and we politely said that we're not interested.
Besides, the SEC was crap before Arkansas joined. You guys kid, but I know deep down that you'd all be devastated if Arkansas left. I mean, we're America's Team, right? Why do you think footballs were originally made out of pigskin? Can you imagine a football made out of gator hide?

What conference wouldn't want Arkansas and its fan base? They blend in very well with folks from Nueter Dame...or maybe Big Ten with Northwestern, Penn State ? When Arkies fan base shows up in overalls with grease and ketchup stains...its easy to see the matchups.
Just remember the movie Deliverance this sat night...we lost Easley but # 6 Fowler & # 7 Powell will be whispering to your qb "you shore look prutty boy".

What gives? Why would no one want them? They don't really fit in here, they don't have any history of winning here. It seems like they'd be easy pickings.
Not reading every page yet, but the Big 12 tried to lure them away while Mizzou and TAMU was in talks with the SEC.

Florida just seems like a more natural fit in the ACC.
