4th best in the 2012 SEC aint bad, but not exactly incredible.

That offense was better than the stat but only for 3 quarters. By the time the fourth quarter rolled around offense had packed up completely because defense couldn't stop anyone.

It was frustrating to watch Bray and the offense quit every game ~late 3rd quarter because they were dangerous enough to stay within striking distance of anyone and more than capable of blowing people out if they had some fire. However, they knew as well as anyone else that defense wasn't going to do a thing and so you could watch them every game as they started to give up.

Averaged 30 pts per game in SEC play and went 1-7

That was my junior year, thank you Sal Sunseri

Wrong. Dividing by zero is undefined, not infinity.

Spurrier was 10x the coach that Fulmer was.

I’ve always had a theory that the way the second half of the 95 game went; that was UTs inflection point in the rivalry so to speak.

The way that game turned on them in the second half had to just damage them mentally beyond repair in this rivalry. Was worse than the 31-0 beat down the year before.

01 UF and 01 UT where the only teams that had a shot of beating Miami that year.

No way we should have lost to Tennessee that year. We were sleepwalking, just like the Auburn game. Nothing against UT, they were a good team. Shows you what can happen if you don't bring your best effort.

Don't forget we were missing one of the best backs we had that decade because of the pure trash at FSU purposefully injuring him.

Seems like Tennessee had a chance to make hay in the series when Meyer's offense hadn't really gotten on track yet in 2005 and 2006. They didn't and I think the talent level had sunken below Florida's (as well as Georgia, Bama and LSU) by the time Fulmer got the boot.

Some things about 05 and 06.

UT had internal issues in 05 and that team imploded for whatever reason. In 2006 UF had a great defense and special teams and Leak had the offense down enough to beat some teams. Also 06 was when we realized how loaded Zook left us talent wise. Also no one was ready for the Tebow package and the emergence of Percy Harvin.

I can’t really say we where sleepwalking in that game. We had a 23-21 lead going into the 4th quarter. Earnest Graham not playing and the defense deciding to take the night off cost us that game.

Earnest Graham being out and throwing the ball all game in those damned hurricane winds (timing routes where big in the Fun N Gun) cost us the Auburn game.

We where always a little snakebit against the west when Spurrier was the coach for some reason.

Spurrier beat some truly great teams at Tenn that woulda won titles. Instead of a title.

I mean even with Peyton those teams were loaded both sides of the ball

CFN picks ut to go 7-5 and beat UF. Picks UF to go 10-2.
