The consensus was that while the conference wasn’t bluffing with its lawsuit, cooler heads would prevail.
LSU’s reported decision to add DE Gabriel Reliford and CB Aidan Anding to its roster — eliminating the possibility of adding TE Dae’Quan Wright or DT Zxavian Harris — would indicate that this thing gets settled before Thursday’s membership vote.

In that case, expel us from the conference. The SEC has no authority to determine whom an institution may or may not hire as its head coach. If that is the route they take then so be it. LSU would more than likely be courted by the ACC and play a schedule that kept it closer to its geographical area than Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Missouri play.

I'm pretty sure most of college football gets how the LA governor and DA pushed for Kiffin's NFL pursuit. We also get why that constitutes a lack of University Institutional Control down on the Bayou.
