Really? A new QB and Marshall coming off injury.
Let Gurley get hurt and WHO do you turn to for yards? If anything your statement about Cooper was far closer to short bus material.
IDK, maybe they go to the other 3 5 star running backs? I'm no expert though.

Sure they have a Todd Gurley all ready to go. If Gurley goes down Georgia is done. If he is gimpy like last year Georgia is finished. Where will the yards come from?
Cooper would be a very big loss without a doubt, but Alabama does have other receiving options plus 3 excellent backs to give it to. All that have done it on the field.

I don't hate him, I just think he's overrated. Same with Cooper.
I'd rather have Montgomery, Lockett, Agholor, Strong, Boyd, Greene, and Diggs over Cooper.
I'd rather have Gurley, Gordon, Abdullah, Williams, Collins, and Coleman, over Yeldon.
I don't know how much Drake fumbles, but he has crazy speed for his size. I think he'd blow Yeldon's stats out of the water with the same amount of carries.
ETA: Rashard Greene. That dude is a smooth route runner with great hands and has 4.4 speed. Also Jaelen Strong. He's 6'4, fsst, and has great hands.

Most people who study football for a living would disagree with you. But hey, I trust your "eye test".

Marshall?
Chubb?
Michel?
Take your pick. We went 8-5 with a gimpy Gurley and injured Marshall last year. The two guys who stepped up? Douglas and Green. Green got moved to CB and Douglas will be 5th on the depth chart, if not 6th behind Turman this year. We have the most talented RB group in the country. If you want to argue against that, then fine, but you're splitting hairs.
We also don't plan on losing Mitchell, Scott-Wesley, Bennett, Conley and Jay Rome for multiple games throughout the year. You know, I'm guessing we could hypothetically replace some of Gurley's production through the air when our top 4 WRs and top TE aren't beat to shite.

I'd take our backup RBs vs your backup WRs everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

I'm so confused by UGA fans when it comes to Gurley.
Half of you guys argue that he is not injury prone and the he was only gone for three games.
The other half argue that he was battling injury all year and couln't stay healthy at all.

Well then, I guess Romo really is a good QB.

Saying that he is injury prone =/= saying he was battling injury all year.
At least in my eyes the distinction is that simple. Injury prone suggests a career issue. I never heard anything about him being banged up in high school. He carried the load his freshman year at UGA and was never injured that I can recall.
He had a banged up hammy that caused him to miss time against Clemson. He remedied that and performed pretty well against both USCe and LSU (briefly). His season basically ended with the unfortunate severe high ankle sprain against LSU. He came back later in the year, but wasn't nearly the same - you don't recover from that bad of a high ankle sprain by taking a few weeks off and then immediately averaging 20+ touches a game when you get back.

Why does the Rant hate T.J. Yeldon so much?

Really? I bet you didn't say that when he ran the ball inside the ten late. You prayed for something and you got a flag. Because if that doesn't get called, you lose.

He's not injury prone. Only a moron (which coincidentally, it's usually just our rivals who try to lay that description on him) would think that.
Having a serious injury (football related, on a tackle) and missing a good bit of time doens't mean you're injury prone. It means you got injured.
You'd be much more rooted in reality calling malcolm mitchell or trinton sturdivant injury prone, as they have had multiple injuries to the same appendage.
