Does this logic apply to Auburn players too that have flipped from Alabama?

Mike Davis had only 4 less carries than Yeldon even with Davis's injuries, he missed one game.
Davis also played through several games where it was obvious he was injured and he wasn't nearly as effective. And the game he missed was Coastal Carolina. He wasn't going to get many carries if healthy

That's a completely subjective statement
Comes with the territory of discussing sports. You can throw all the stats and justifications out that you want, but actually watching the players play is what matters. College coaches don't look at high school players stats, they look at tape. And just like music and movie preferences, player preference is very subjective

So you basically disproved your own argument that Davis lost more carries to injury than Yeldon lost to backups? Sheesh. So I'm guessing after disproving your own argument, you will say Davis didn't acutally lose those carries but just wasn't as effective because he was hurt. Well, Yeldon had an ankle sprain most of the end of the season. Playing hurt is the nature of playing in the SEC.

Because its the rant and people are dumb here?

Well if scouts just watch highlights posted by Bama fans like the rumors say, he should be the 1st overall pick next year

Because most fans are mad their doesn't have a running back as good as Yeldon, and if the back is as close to as good as Yeldon is, we obviously all want our back to get the media attention he does. Gurley does, I just feel like that's how most other fans feel.

I felt like Jeremy Hill deserved more attention last year. I would also like Fournette to get less attention until he proves himself on the field.

Running over Ogletree there wasn't very impressive. Did you see the block Williams laid? Tree never had a chance, he already had one knee on the ground.
ETA: That's not to say Yeldon wasn't impressive in that game, but that's a poor example. We know Lacy runs with more authority than Yeldon. We saw what Tree did to Lacy at the goal line in that game. To suggest that Yeldon really dominated Tree on that play is a little comical.

Pretty sure I didn't specify carries alone and left it carries/yards/tds because Gurley's injury cost him a ton of carries where Davis's injury cost him production.

LSU fans loved to talk about how overrated Eddie Lacy was. Now that he has torn up the NFL, they are backtracking
I don't think even most Alabama fans expected Lacy to be the back he's been in the NFL. I think most expected he and Richardson's success to be reversed.

This has been covered before. Look, I am a UGA fan and I can say he is a good RB, but you should just stop comparing him to better RB's. It's a losing battle.

OK I am going to tell it like it is. Staying hurt in the NFL's eyes is an issue, so is fumbling. If you are not on the field you aren't much help to your team's prospects for winning. Some UGA on here said Alabama was one Amari Cooper knee injury from going 8-4. Without a totally healthy Todd Gurley Georgia might not break .500. Fumbling issues can be fixed by hard work and coaching. Being injury prone, not so much. A Gurley injury this year could be very damaging to his draft prospects.
Yeldon was over 220 in the spring and still just as quick. Looked very good when I saw him in the spring game. Come fall you'll probably see a 225 pound Yeldon to go with a 245 pound Henry and a cat quick Kenyan Drake.
I guarantee were he at Auburn or LSU he would be the starter. And it is possible he would be at EVERY SEC school. That's the facts. Like it or not.

Who are the better RB's? Gurley is the only one I'd concede...maybe Gordon.

Phil Steele just released his Preseason All-America list with Yeldon on the 2nd team putting him in the top 4 RB's nationally.
He was on the 1st team of Sporting News Preseason All-America team with Todd Gurley. LINK
CBSsports had Yeldon as their 3rd RB off the board in thier first 2015 mock draft. LINK
Athlon Sports has Yeldon as their 2nd best running back in 2015. LINK
NFL.com writer Bryan Fischer actually took Yeldon as the 1st running back taken in a college football fantasy draft for all college players. Gurley was taken with the next pick. LINK
NFL Draft Geek has Yeldon as the #2 RB in the country for next season. LINK
NFL Futures has Yeldon rated as their #3 RB.
So basically Todd Gurley over Yeldon all the time. Gotcha

No, those were intelligent young men making wise choices about their futures.

After we lost 2 running backs to the NFL this year, I would hope so.

Really? A new QB and Marshall coming off injury.
Let Gurley get hurt and WHO do you turn to for yards? If anything your statement about Cooper was far closer to short bus material.
