That dwarf use to be an all state Left tackle. That’s pretty impressive at that size.

If I had to guess that was at a very small school.

Either way, even if the players are not as skilled the same techniques apply.

I don't know if someone else posted this but this article states he is 5'5".

Honestly more respect for this guy than someone who has natural talent but doesn't use it to the fullest.

His high school wasn't small either. If I were a 300+ lbs offensive lineman, I'd want someone who could maximize my ability and someone who had to use technique to overcome physical limitations would be attractive.

Mirabal’s legacy as an elite collegiate offensive line coach began at FIU when he was promoted to the position in 2010. Standing at only 5-foot-5, the former offensive lineman earned his stripes as a technically sound and intelligent blocker who outworked his competition.

How does that guy possibly know anything at all about being an offensive lineman

He was a good college tackle...He's an example of what happens when you get off the 'roids and HGHs.

Does Mirabal mean Half-a-Cristobal?

This guy musta been hell back then when chop blocking was legal. I wonder how many knees he's ruined.

In all seriousness, this is a great story. Dude seems to be a real high level teacher of technique.
