Why does LSU think they are special?

Every year corn dogs declare themselves the best team in CFB, discuss scheduling flights and hotels at NCG sites .... and then get beat very quickly by a team like Ole Miss. It's just too hard and too sad sometimes.
Who will cry for the little corndog, let down by his team?
Who will cry for the little corndog? He cries now as he melts.
Who will cry for the little corndog? Joy he has rarely felt.
Who will cry for the little corndog? He has seen the dumpster fire.
Who will cry for the little corndog? Such a disappointed fan.
Who will cry for the little corndog? He is annually letdown.
Who will cry for the little corndog? His teams lose and lose again.
Who will cry for the little corndog? It soon becomes too hard.
Who will cry for the little corndog, that cries in every ranter?
Who will cry for the little corndog, let down by his team?
Who will cry for the little corndog? He cries now as he melts.
Who will cry for the little corndog? Joy he has rarely felt.

You started well but then went to shite with that pathetic attempt at poetry.
I’d give it 3/10.

This group of players doesnt look like a very special bunch.
No idea who their best players are. In the old days they had 3-4 players that really scared opposing teams.

Dude, it is not corn dogs you Bama fans are smelling at Tiger stadium. It is the smell from the coffee roasting plants on the Mississippi River. Maybe, it is because to most Bama fans a corndog with some Dale’s is a gourmet meal.
I like your attempt at prose and poetry, tho!

I've never seen a more excitable and high-strung group of people.

Are you Gumps still talking about your victory in Oxford on Saturday? At some point, you would think Auburn or Tennessee was your rival.
Sad news for you, Gumps, rivalry denied.

So far not since 2014. Except for 2019, I've been able to post at least 1 of this lovely and thoughtful poem every season.

I agree this poem is one of the saddest I've ever read.
