Because (as the old saying goes), Jacksonville is the 2nd largest city in Georgia.

This. I've heard some Georgia fans complain when UF is on a win streak about it. But it really offers no home field advantage. It's split. Every year I've gone you see as many of both fan bases. Travel time for either is not very hard.

Never move it. It's home is Jacksonville and needs to stay. It's by far and away the most fun experience.

There is a clandestine effort to build a stadium between the Okefenokee, St. Mary's, and St. Simon's Island. The timber is being harvested now, but there have been some roadblocks with the EPA regarding woodpeckers, indigo snakes, and gopher tortoises. But rest assured, it is being worked out. It is happening.

It’s pretty obvious Georgia fans don’t want gator fans anywhere near Athens and if you’ve ever been to a Florida game it’s clear they don’t really want anyone there. So win win, Jacksonville gets to see a real football game once a year.

If Georgia does not realize it is a home game for Florida then they are idiots. I don't care if they split the tickets the game is still in Florida.
It's not a real home game if the crowd is split 50-50. This is not a difficult concept to grasp.

It was a fricking blast doing it to you fricktards last year. Hell, we had 52 at the beginning of the fourth quarter and y’all had to call timeout on the last play and put your starters back in to do it to us. No class at all. We could’ve scored 70 on you fricking pussies.frick all you clowns. See y’all at the CP.

I enjoy playing in Jax. Nothing like spending a long weekend in SSI and leaving early Saturday for the game. The only issue I have, is the overwhelming majority of the revenue for the game goes to Florida. I wouldn’t mind GA getting some Florida money every other year.

30 minutes north of Jacksonville? That makes no sense. UGA would still have to fly to Jacksonville and then turn around and drive north to Georgia. I’m from that area, Camden County specifically. Putting the game there would not benefit either team, fans or recruits. Who is trying to make this happen? If you’re referring to everything being cleared out on I95 from exits 1-7, that’s supposedly for a water park they’ve been claiming is in the works since I was in High School 10 years ago.

You’re so tough on the internet where there’s no repercussions for your words. We’re all so impressed. I love the use of “we” as if you actually played. My guess is you’re middle aged, with an average paying job, either so skinny that it’s creepy, or really overweight (hard to pin down), never played a down of football (but I’m sure your next post will be filled with your war stories from the glory days), and that you wouldn’t dare talk like this in the presence of Gator fans.

The LSU melt has delivered. When you realize Jawja ain’t as far ahead of the Gators as you thought you were, the melt will be epic. Now, carry on with your expletive-laden reply in which you have a rebuttal for every point I made, and then tell me how much better Jawja is then Florida, and don’t forget the part where you would kick my @$$. Or, do us all a favor and don’t. You’re embarrassing your entire team. Either way, your melt has been tasty!

I’ve actually heard that too, but not from any legitamite sources. There’s an argument for either side though.

For- The heavy traffic that comes up and down 95 year round, Spring Break kids headed to and from Florida, WLOCP, Daytona 500, Daytona Bike Week etc.

Against- The powers that be in Kingsland, St. Mary’s and Woodbine don’t want to see real growth in Camden County. The largest Nuclear Submarine Base in the country is there in St. Marys, and there is zero entertainment in the entire county that keeps those 18-22 year old sailors spending their money in Camden. Those kids go and spend millions collectively down in Jacksonville every year at bars and strip clubs.

Not to mention, I would think Atlanta would be a much better casino market.

Seriously? You have google at your fingertips, you will never have to see me in real life, and this is the best you can do? You have a free roast session with every joke in the world available to you via google and this is your response? So on top of all of the personality traits I listed, you’re borderline special needs when it comes to internet trolling. I’m concerned for you bruh. You’re not acting like an idiot, you’re actually an idiot. Go to google and come back with something better than that bruh. FOH with that weak trolling. If Georgia plays how you troll, you’d never win another game. You better thank baby Jesus that that isn’t the case. Now go google something and come back correct.
