Why does ESPN feel the need to pick game times so far in advance?

What possible benefit could it have for them?
I get doing the first couple weeks but past that? I truly don't understand how it benefits them or anyone for that matter

You don't see how it would benefit someone to know what time they need to be somewhere so that they can make arrangements for things like.... kids and shite? Booking flights and/or hotel rooms?

I meant more from a ratings and money perspective. ESPN doesn’t care about your kids

I’m just happy they have the ability to flex games with the time windows they select in preseason.

These 11:00 CT kickoffs just kill any sort of tailgating or pre-game atmosphere on campus.

Never asked for a night slot. I prefer mid afternoon for travel back and forth.
